Hello Hello! I recently posted an update about how starting this month I would be making changes to my streaming content and where streams would be available. After giving it a lot of thought, I’ve decided to stream exclusively on Twitch for now: www.twitch.tv/drsimsss

While I’ve loved connecting with folks across platforms, I want to focus on building a more tight-knit, engaged community, and keeping everything in one place will help make that possible.

There are a few reasons behind this change:

🌿 Twitch is better optimized for streaming, and I’ve been running into performance issues with YouTube (THIS has been what is causing the issue with my streams lately on all platforms).

🌿 As a Twitch Affiliate, there are several guidelines in place for multi-streaming, and I want to ensure that I never accidentally violate these guidelines as I have a future goal of becoming a Twitch Partner. Something as simple as combining chats, for example, violates their guidelines. Otherwise, this would be what I would do to bypass this issue (also the issue outlined next).

🌿 Most importantly, I want to focus on building a more connected community in one place instead of spreading content thin across platforms. There are times when people don't understand what I'm responding to, and, while I tend to read the message before responding, it takes additional time. I also cannot promise to read every message, so it would be nice for everyone to be able to easily engage with one another in one place.

VODs will still be uploaded to my Dr. Sims Live Mode channel on YouTube, so you can always rewatch or catch up if you miss a stream here: youtube.com/@drsimslivemode
