HireSalesReps.io has officially been acquired by DealFuel 🚀
After 5 years of building my company , I achieved what most founders dream of. I got my exit.
I started this business with the simple idea of training salespeople & helping companies find sales reps.
Fast forward and we’ve staffed 300+ companies and placed nearly 500 reps. Wild ride.
But here’s the thing, our primary focus was on the sales reps, not the businesses, so the reps we placed came through our own coaching program.
It worked, but it wasn’t always the best setup for businesses that just wanted the best reps on the planet.
So, when it came time to sell, I wanted to ensure it went to the right hands. I had offers from VCs, sales agencies, and recruiting firms.
But DealFuel stood out. Their solution is just better. I realized their approach creates drastically better outcomes for businesses.
Some of the top names in the space already use them, and after the relationships I developed over the last 5 years making sure they were getting even better reps than I was sending them.
Dev's background in sales speaks for itself, and after diligence with top names in the space, it was clear he was the perfect person to hand the baton to with hiresalesreps.io
It's been a long few weeks going over the legal paperwork, etc, but the deal is officially done.
All existing clients will now be able to communicate with Dev and his team at DealFuel in the Slack channel.
Anybody in my network who needs the best sales talent and wants a direct introduction to Dev, drop me a message. More than happy to help.
100% of the money from the acquisition will go into my next venture.
I want to make better content for you but it's challenging when I don't know WHO you guys are or WHAT content you want or where you are at in your journey
It's like trying to hit a bullseye while blindfolded...
I'm hoping to change that today - so help me out a bit.
Below I'm gonna link a form, fill it out (it's only a few questions)
In exchange - I'll do a free 1 hour training for filling it out for me.
My hope is to make better content that is more valuable, more educational, or more hilarious...
Yes, we have guaranteed placement or you get a full refund…
But that’s not all
Imagine having
- 3x weekly group coaching calls - Constant 1 on 1s - Have me personally reviewing your sales calls (unlimited) - Community of 140+ killers doing numbers + traveling the world - Hours of high level sales training that I used to do $8M in sales
Listen, the fact that you are reading this tells me one thing.
You are on a journey my friend. You have this inner feeling that you are destined for greatness.
You’ve had some accomplishments for sure, but you feel like you have just scratched the surface…
Which brings us to the topic of today:
How to know when you should leave your current sales role.
Yesterday we talked about the power of singular focus and how the vast majority of sales roles outside of the High Ticket space force you to take a shotgun spray approach to selling.
And let me let you in on a little secret…
There are 2 main types of offers you can sell:
Learning offers Earning offers.
But there is also this other segment of offers that I personally like to call - a fucking waste of time.
Let’s assess some symptoms of offers that are a waste of time, shall we?
If other people on the team show up a few minutes late to meetings rubbing their eye crusties + are mentally checked out
If you are constantly teaching other people on the team stuff and you aren’t learning from better people around you
If you constantly hear about problems with the business and don’t feel any upward trajectory and growth
If no one in the company makes $200k/yr
If you feel any sense of subtle regret for setting + closing prospects because you know what you sell won’t actually benefit them
If you don’t have the urge to stay up until 1 am learning more about your product / niche because you aren't passionate about it
If it’s impossible for you to make $1000 in a day
If you constantly have to cold prospect for leads to make anything happen
If no one on the team is reviewing your calls, coaching you, and giving you constant feedback
If they don’t have a CRM, data tracking systems for sales metrics, or any structure to sales team meetings
If they can’t even fill your calendar with enough leads to keep you busy
Yikes. I bet that was hard to read through, wasn’t it?
Now let me give you a brutal reality check:
I am 23 years old… I’m typing this from a sick penthouse balcony overlooking Miami.
I just spent New Years with a bunch of guys in their 20s who make 8 figures a year on the biggest yacht in Miami.
I spent $25000 to enter this mastermind, and I have made over $1M in my career. No, I do not consider myself a millionaire, but I’ve made well over $1M in my short career…
I say this all because of 1 reason… I didn’t achieve all of this by the age of 23 because I fucked around in low-leverage opportunities waiting for things to get better for me.
I’ve been on sales teams where I was fully convinced the sales manager was retarded… no CRM, sales guys not making ANY money, no leads coming in, no real onboarding process, and everyone just hung out and showed up to sales team meetings with no hope of closing deals but just stuck it out.
The sales manager wouldn’t even review any sales calls… had no urgency to fix anything as if making NO money was perfectly fine.
I left immediately.
I wouldn't be where I am now at 23 if I stuck around in these weak environments with weak people.
The reality of the situation is most businesses don’t even break past a measly $1M a year… and all the symptoms I listed above are symptoms of businesses doing under $1M a year or a corporate dead-end job that just dangles a carrot to incentivize you to stay longer so they can milk you for every dollar while they hand you whatever spare change they have left over.
Here is my point. It’s 2024.
Fuck the new year new me bullshit.
I want you to go into your bathroom.
Stare at yourself in the mirror for a good full minute, and tell yourself enough is enough.
You are done being around C players, and you only surround yourself with A players….
You will cut off your bum-ass friends who want to drink on weekdays and smoke weed every day with you.
You will leave your low-leverage sales job.
You will take your health seriously.
And you will make your first $200k this year.
It’s time to step up to the big leagues. No more small boy stuff.
But to step up in the big leagues, you need to become an A-player sales rep.
You need your calls reviewed by the best of the best, you need to run mock calls with people as hungry as you, you need to learn sales from people who have mastered this game, and you need these A-level opportunities I mentioned in front of your face every single month…
You can get all of this in the Closing Bible.
Or you can stay where you’re at… In a mediocre opportunity, surrounded by mediocre people, with less than mediocre mindsets.
Working long days and making peanuts compared to what you know you could be.
