So… I’ve been thinking abt the BTS talking abt cortis’s weight issue and I’ve come to a semi conclusion.
I’m just putting this out bc it’s been stressing me out, but I think we just might be able to forgive BTS here. I also say this as a Stan of both BTS and cortis.
So for those who don’t know, BTS was talking abt the weights of cortis members on a live
We all know about the weight pressures in the industry, so this incident would be used to go against BTS, but I think it also partially demonstrates how detrimental the industry is. Imagine part of your life just being you getting judged by your weight… it might be hard not to think about it.
I am not defending BTS. What they said was not okay in any regard. However, I think this moreso goes to show bad parts of the industry rather than BTS being bad people.

It’s so hard to handle things when everyone around you is calling you mature for it but you feel like you’re the one in the wrong and slowly dying on the inside. I’m so stressed about so many things (work, school, friendships) and everyone is so “proud of me” but myself because I still feel like I’m losing the game
