What can be more Beautiful than African Harmony? What can be more powerful than African Unity? What can be more Admirable than African Dignity? The world looks on in wonder at all this on display
What can be compared to The African Mind? Africans! The most creative ones you'll ever find Though never given credit, as our work some others claim, Africa! The Greatest Nation in the world today
Foundation of Humanity, A truth some seek to hide, World's first University! We can speak those words with pride, A people filled with hearts of love, exploited through the years, A Continent that built the World with its blood, sweat and tears

The Year was 1979 Our Teacher stepped outside He left Us work of Art to do And Boy ! I worked with Pride .. Well, as the Tracher left the room There was not a sound But sadly, as his back was turned, The students fooled around
A little student then announced that She had just been hit And went to see Our Teacher, She stormed out in a fit
The Girl returned and to my dismay I was the One Accused I was called up by the Teacher And Boy was I abused..
He used a Yellow Plastic Rule To Flog Me in My Hand And While I Took each Painful Blow I just couldn't understand
I Pleaded loud My Innocence Which fell on Deafened Ear I was not the only one who Cried Even Teachers were in Tears
"Twentynine" Counted one Boy As the Blows came down "Why Abuse a Child like this? Asked a Teacher, with a frown
As I write these words Today I Can Still feel the Pain And even Fortynine years old The Tears do Roll again
"Sixty" ! Said the Boy outside My hands were in Bad Shape Helpless kids placed in Their hands, Face Flogging, Harsh Words, Rape
I went up to the Office, To the VP as I Cried, "I Don't Care what You Did At All,, This Cant be Justified !"
It has been Years, I Hurt Today There are Others Hurting Too And This is Just the Reason For the Things I choose to Do
The words are "True Respect For All" By These Words, Let's Abide I could be filled with Hate My Friends But I've Put It All Aside
Over time I Did Realize That I Had to Forgive Or I Would Harbour Bitterness For as long as I do Live
I Must say Without a Doubt That I Still Feel The Pain And So I'm Striving to Ensure That It's,Never Done Again!

CHILD ABUSE ( My Personal Experience).
The Year was 1979
Our Teacher stepped outside
He left Us work of Art to do
And Boy ! I worked with Pride ..
Well, as the Tracher left the room
There was not a sound
But sadly, as his back was turned,
The students fooled around
A little student then announced that She had just been hit
And went to see Our Teacher, She stormed out in a fit
The Girl returned and to my dismay
I was the One Accused
I was called up by the Teacher
And Boy was I abused..
He used a Yellow Plastic Rule
To Flog Me in My Hand
And While I Took each Painful Blow
I just couldn't understand
I Pleaded loud My Innocence
Which fell on Deafened Ear
I was not the only one who Cried
Even Teachers were in Tears
"Twentynine" Counted one Boy
As the Blows came down
"Why Abuse a Child like this?
Asked a Teacher, with a frown
As I write these words Today
I Can Still feel the Pain
And even Fortynine years old
The Tears do Roll again
"Sixty" ! Said the Boy outside
My hands were in Bad Shape
Helpless kids placed in Their hands,
Face Flogging, Harsh Words, Rape
I went up to the Office, To the VP as I Cried,
"I Don't Care what You Did At All,,
This Cant be Justified !"
It has been Years, I Hurt Today
There are Others Hurting Too
And This is Just the Reason
For the Things I choose to Do
The words are "True Respect For All"
By These Words, Let's Abide
I could be filled with Hate My Friends
But I've Put It All Aside
Over time I Did Realize
That I Had to Forgive
Or I Would Harbour Bitterness
For as long as I do Live
I Must say Without a Doubt
That I Still Feel The Pain
