"Sri Vishwavasu” Ugadi , Hindu New year is celebrated in India in the States of Andhra , Telengana & Karnataka . The Festival marks the start of “chaitra masam” ( chaitra month) and is seen as auspicious day for new beginnings.
This day is celebrated with Ugadi Pachhadi , Making beautiful Rangoli & enjoying sweets like Poli .
Today it’s also celebrated as “Gudi Padwa” in Maharashtra.
