I just posted episode #95. I will do a YouTube live tonight - Indiana time - at 8PM EST. As always, if there are no questions it will be short. 8PM today - Thursday, August 12. See some of you then.
A probably short live session at 8PM Indiana time - less than an hour. A new video will be up shortly and it might be the next to last one or next to the next. Then there will be a "Van Tour" video . How will YouTube survive without weekly updates from me? : )
We decided we will not babysit our beloved 2020 Runway Camper 6x8 fiberglass RangeRunner. With our soon-to-be-done Ford Transit 250 van conversion, the Runaway would rarely be used. We will be using some of the proceeds of the sale to add a carport for the Ford Transit 250 to protect it.
This is not going to be a fire sale. With the delay in getting new Runaways, this is an opportunity for someone to get an almost fully outfitted RangeRunner now - with GREAT Moman-installed options, not later. You will just need to add a bed - it comes with curtains and a LOT more as you will see below. A. Lot. And the final selling price will reflect that.
A newly-ordered 2021 Runaway RangeRunner, just with the factory options we have (roof rack, front cargo rack & rear window), would be $6,580, before all of the nice options I installed.
• All of MY installed options add up to over $1,500, so I am all in with this 2020 fiberglass RangeRunner to the tune of over $8,000. It has been on the road less than 5,000 miles. The trip back from Florida, a camping trip to TN and a 3-week trip to Colorado last summer.
We loved the RangeRunner, but it will now be a new "season of life" camping change for the Momans. We are still in the Runaway Family forever and I am filming new Runaway YouTube videos in the near future. I am approaching 2-million YouTube views and most are of my Runaway videos. Just ask Daniel at the sales office! : )
I do not think any such lightly-used, fiberglass Runaway RangeRunner, with all of the options I have installed, has hit the market before. We have babied both of our Runaways and garaged them 95% of the time. And it is kind of "YouTube famous"! Well . . . not as much as our 4x8 - it has been looked at hundreds of thousands of times and hundreds of times every single day even now. :)
I have uploaded 38 images of the RangeRunner and added Moman- installed-options, on my Smugmug account for possible buyers to check out. See link below. I have captioned every photo, so be sure to click on the comment bubble on the left side of the screen before running through the photos. charlesmoman.smugmug.com/Moman-Runaway-2020-RangeR…
All the new owners will need, will be the bed and I would strongly suggest getting a an Ecoflow or Jackery solar generator (lithium all- in-one unit). for running things when off shore power. And food. : )
Some of the installed options - besides the Runaway factory-installed roof rack, rear window and front cargo rack - that are included:
• MaxxAir 5100k fan - 12v fan - run via shore power with the included AC adapter, or off-grid use a Jackery, Ecoflow or other lithium unit. It sips power.
• MaxxAir passive vent - run the fan and air is pulled through the camper via the vent - works great and helps with condensation.
• 100w Renogy solar panel - I used it to charge an Ecoflow solar generator - an all-in-one unit - no installed separate charge controller, inverter, etc.) NO lithium solar generators are included, but I suggest getting one to be operational when off shore power. You will see a photo with an Ecoflow lithium, but it is NOT included and NOT available for sale.
• A pair of solar cables with MC4 connectors, to hook up to the Renogy 100w panel to a lithium like a Jackery or Ecoflow (my preferred choice).
• ARB 2000mm (about 6.5 feet) awning attached to the roof rack. This is the newer one with the LED lights.
• ARB screen room - screens - not walls. Plus two side walls that can be set up for shading or wind blocking. All stakes and ropes.
• My "famous" LED tail light upgrade - two 20" LEDs in each of the corners of both sides of the rear. That is four bright lights that following traffic cannot miss. Lane changing is much easier!
• Your choice of one of my hitch ball mounts - one was used on our Dodge Grand Caravan and the other on the F-150 4x4.
• A Durasafe hitch protector that stops the Runaway from popping off the ball. Very reassuring when driving down the road. Plus a hitch anti-rattle clamp - stops rattles.
• LED strip light around the ceiling, with remote - colors and dimmer.
• I totally rewired it. I removed the long power strips and replaced them with smaller ones with USB ports. Also, one GFCI AC outlet - the power line coming into the camper runs into this GFCI outlet.
• I took out the front outside power cord and box for shore power, and added two waterproof boxes with one female end and one male end - for shore power and plugging in anything while outside the camper.
• A nice set of Susie-Moman-made curtains - animal track pattern. They attach with velcro on the walls and curtains.
• Foam floor, cork board above the Susie-Moman-made shelf that sits on the floor. There is a factory-installed upper shelf.
• Two totes on the front cargo rack, with a heavy plastic floor. Mounted with U-bolts - will not come off. One small and one medium. Easily removed if needed.
• Four wheel chocks, set of leveling blocks, lug wrench for camper wheels AND the proper size wrench to remove the spare tire.
• An unused Helio foot-pump camp shower.
• A pair of solar cable with MC4 connectors to hook the Renogy 100w panel to a lithium like a Jackery or Ecoflow (my preferred choice).
I really will totally ignore low ball offers. I am not being rude - just telling you now.
So there it is. Please do not friend me to ask questions. Ask in FaceBook messenger or email me at charlesemoman@gmail.com
I will be making a video soon about our fiberglass RangeRunner.
We moved the finally-all-painted shiplap to the middle of the garage so we can move our Runaway Camper back into the garage. Susie is hard at work on the second bed platform as well as making the second round of window frames. I finished the edges trim work and will do a little more with wiring as I was for the window frames so I can close off the walls.
I seriously doubt anyone will have questions but is anyone interested in me doing a Q & A video? If so, post your question below and if I get some I will make a short video for you.
As some of you know, I am doing a new YouTube van build series here. I surprisingly found exactly the lightly used Ford Transit 20 medium roof cargo van I wanted to do a conversion faster than I dreamed. I traded my beautiful racing-red F-150 4x4, on this 2018 that has only 34,600 miles. I am still researching and designing my build plan. now. I hope to have Episode 1 of this series up by mid-to-late next week. I will be showing you the van and talk about my proposed build and I will have cardboard mockups "installed" in the van for us to ruminate on. See you next week - I estimate this will be a 4-6 month build. I am not doing build for full-time "van life", so it will not be so complex AND we will continue to tow our wonderful fiberglass, 2020 Runaway Camper RangeRunner as permanently set up comfy bedroom. I hope you will enjoy my van-build journey. I. Am. Excited!

I went over 2 million views last night. I do not monetize my videos, so financially I gain nothing by that number, but it is fun to see. Woo!
