Probably this announcement will take more than one person by surprise, but I am retiring from Mugen.
Regarding reasons, I simply don't have that much time or desire to continue with the rest of my projects. This year I have already thrown quite a lot, I am also satisfied with my own ability and I intend to dedicate myself to other things. There really weren't that many works left anyway, so it's a decision with minimal effects (In my opinion).
Most likely, I will continue with the commissions that I have in progress (I'm not sure if I'll be taking more in the future or not, that depends on how much time I have. Anyway at least that doesn't sound impossible), but the characters will not be released here they are going to be only for the people who requested them.
Maybe put a list in the channel description to prevent someone from eventually using my author name to create additional content that doesn't belong to me.

What will happen to the rest of the projects?


-About UDBZ: Nothing to worry about here, progress has been very good in the last few months and the rest of the team will continue to work on the project which means that sooner or later they will have releases of all worthwhile z2i characters and were in my hands. As well as all the content related to this project.

-About JUS: It's been a long time since I decided to put it aside, the reality is that this project was too ambitious. Even for me and I was not satisfied with the results, personally I think that there was too much to improve and since I do not intend to do it, it is better to forget about it. I apologize to those who have been waiting for this project, I personally did not think it would come to this point.

-About CVF: As far as CVF is concerned, it's been months since I got off the official line of the game which means I'm just working on "Mods" which gives me some creative freedom. In any case, for this reason too, it is irrelevant what I do or don't do here. Surely this project will advance with or without me, it is also easier than other MUGEN games which allows more fans of this saga to continue its development in the future.

-About Spiderman-WIP: I consider this character to be the most extensive of all the ones I've done. And although its current state is considerably good I don't want to upload it unfinished. But it still has a long way to go, although it sounds a bit strange, I think it would take a few months before I can finish it, so it is likely that I will end up canceling it or, failing that, I will finish it and go up without notice in the very distant future. In any case, I wouldn't expect it, and in any case the Six-Arms takes a good part of it and reinvents it in a better way by being more original. So at least you have a spiderman what has nothing to envy to the base one.

It's been a while since I've uploaded anything so I've thought about doing a special today (13 Videos of AI match) instead of uploading the update of my AVP project I'll be uploading the characters separately. All the characters were reworked so that it is not so repetitive to play with them, I mean they really seemed almost a recolor. I have also balanced them and totally changed the gameplay. Previously the buttons were totally messy and the damage was massive without counting the amount of bugs...

The new gameplay works like this:

a - Attack1
b - Attack2
c - Attack3
x - Super1
y - Super2
z - Super3

Similar to how those old samurai x cheap edits worked they have special moves and combos despite having a base that looks a lot like jus. The AIs were mostly redesigned, I fixed some compatibility issues with the power bars (predator ones) and each character has a different approach as well as different stats to make it more interesting. Realistically it's a simple job, but it took me longer than I expected. So I didn't want to just upload it as a full update and have it get lost somewhere.

Some characters were removed but are not relevant. I think it's much better now, on the other hand I discarded the idea of ​​using the Z axis because it really didn't convince me and I didn't want to spend more time on it either. I left programming the special so in an hour I would be releasing all the content, I kept the name in the chars folders so that those who have the old version of this mugen can directly replace the new ones in the chars folder. I've never checked for compatibility outside of its own mugen but there's probably not much of a problem with that, or at least nothing that can't be fixed. I didn't write the character movelists this time because I have my doubts if anyone reads them in the first place. In any case, most of the specials are done in very common ways of any fighting game.

Anyway that would be all I hope you like it and I hope you don't have too many problems or have forgotten something. I've been doing it at quite separate times so I might have been wrong about something lol

Announcement:


For those wondering if I'm doing anything, after discussing it with my team I want to openly announce this project. Basically this build of hdbz that I'm working on with some friends has been in the works for a few months and we wanted to have it finished in May but there was no time. In any case, progress at the moment is very stable. This build can be considered as a huge modification to the original game since it will have both a completely renewed HUD as well as more stages, characters and new mechanics. And this one is using IKEMEN instead of mugen, so you can expect the new modes of it included too. At first what we wanted was to make a build that had what we expected for 5.0 but it's expands to be something like an alternative version of HDBZ, and the project name is UDBZ.

PD: Regarding the current release date, it depends a lot on the personal issues of each one, so I cannot give an exact date for now. About the roster in the image isn't it the finish roster, also some characters are hide inside others. So you need to wait for check it.
