Beggar's Canyon is an original Star Wars fan film anthology set between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. It explores one of the saga's most compelling untold chapters: Luke Skywalker's journey from his devastating defeat on Bespin to the calm, formidable Jedi Knight who walks into Jabba's Palace.
Inspired by decades of Star Wars lore—including George Lucas's original screenplay drafts, early concepts, and the Expanded Universe—Beggar's Canyon weaves those influences into entirely new stories while remaining true to the spirit and mythology of the galaxy far, far away. Using cutting-edge visual effects and filmmaking techniques, the series aims to bring forgotten legends, ancient history, and untold adventures to life as if they had always been part of the saga.
