That's why I've organized these stories into a true Season 1 playlist.

Each episode will reveal another piece of OteoLand. One adventure might introduce a magical forest where the trees whisper. Another might take you inside the Crystal Dome, where new inventions come to life. Can educational technology encourage children to move rather than sit still?

One of the biggest concerns I hear from parents and educators is that children already spend too much time in front of screens. It's a valid concern. As technology becomes more accessible, the challenge isn't simply reducing screen time. It's making the time children spend with technology more meaningful.

When I founded Oteogo, I wasn't trying to create another app that asked children to stay glued to a device.

I wanted to create an experience where the screen became a guide, not the destination.

The inspiration came from a surprisingly simple place: the classic game I Spy.

That game never required expensive toys or complicated rules. It encouraged observation, language development, curiosity, and shared interaction. I started asking myself a simple question:

What would "I Spy" look like if it were designed for today's children?

That question became the foundation of Oteogo.

Instead of sitting and tapping, children move around their environment, search for physical cards, scan them, connect images with words, and complete learning missions. The device is only one piece of a larger play experience that combines movement, cognition, and exploration.

As a product designer, game designer, storyteller, and founder, I've learned that technology doesn't have to compete with physical play. It can amplify it.

This philosophy has shaped every decision we've made. Oteogo isn't about increasing screen time. It's about optimizing it by combining digital interaction with movement, active participation, and real-world engagement.

I believe this approach opens interesting possibilities for educators, therapists, schools, healthcare organizations, and brands looking for healthier ways to engage children through technology.

The video I shared today, "From I Spy! to Oteogo! The Evolution of Play," tells the story behind that original inspiration. It is less about nostalgia and more about a design philosophy that continues to guide the product today.

People often ask what I do.

Depending on the day, the answer might be author, product designer, app designer, game designer, storyteller, songwriter, marketer, or entrepreneur.

To me, they all begin with the same pair of hands.

Whether you're designing a toy, writing a story, building an app, or developing a product, you're trying to answer the same question:

Will this create value for someone else?

Every creator quietly hopes that something they imagined will resonate with another human being.

Not because it is perfect.

But because it solves a problem, sparks curiosity, creates joy, or makes someone feel understood.

I recently created a short film called "The Tree With Many Branches." It isn't a product demonstration or a marketing video. It's a small piece of the OteoLand lore that reveals the thinking behind the world I'm building.

The tree became a metaphor for something I've observed over the years.

Children don't all connect in the same way.

Neither do adults.

Some are drawn to stories.
Others to games.
Others to movement, music, technology, or hands-on experiences.

That realization has shaped almost every decision I've made while creating Oteogo.

Perhaps the many roles I've taken on over the years are different branches of the same tree, each trying to reach people differently.

I don't pretend to have all the answers.

I'm simply continuing to build, learn, listen, and refine, one branch at a time.

Sometimes sharing why we create is just as important as sharing what we create.

I've been thinking a lot about where marketing is headed.
For decades, the goal has been to capture attention. But once the commercial ends, the relationship often ends with it.

What if a story became the beginning instead?
That question inspired the Oteogo Brand Story Engine™.

One of the first examples I'm sharing is Crunchy's Big Splash!
In this case study, Crunchy isn't just a product. Crunchy is the hero of an original adventure. Along the way, children naturally encounter words like spoon, milk, cereal, and bowl, blending storytelling with vocabulary and movement.

When the story ends, the experience doesn't.

Families are invited into the Crunchy's Big Splash! game inside the Oteogo App, where the same adventure continues through active play. Every step, every completed mission, and every shared achievement becomes measurable participation.

The result isn't simply another advertisement.
It's a story that keeps living through families.

Years ago, building a branded game like this required a large budget and a dedicated game studio. Today, with AI production tools and the Oteogo platform, I believe brands have a new opportunity to create memorable experiences that are both affordable and measurable.

This is the future I'm exploring.
Not replacing advertising.
