I recently updated the look of our YouTube channel and my YouTube Music page. After all, Luna won the beauty contest and became the face of the channel for the next year — so the new style had to match her. But many of you noticed another change: a new girl with purple hair and fox ears appeared on the banner. She also showed up in my recent Oktoberfest post. And after getting several questions along the lines of “Wait, who is she?” I suddenly realized one tiny problem…
I completely forgot to introduce her to you. 🤣
Time to fix that!
Meet Akira.
Just like Nancy, she is a kitsune, and as of September, she has officially become the ninth mascot representing my music. In the near future, Akira will start appearing on track covers and music video thumbnails.
Personality-wise, I imagined her as a confident, strong-willed rebel with teenage maximalism cranked all the way up. I think the music she represents will have a matching attitude. The first track featuring her as its mascot is already planned for mid-October.
I hope you’ll like Akira. 💜
But there’s more to her than fox ears and a rebellious personality. Since the beginning of summer, I’ve been developing a game with Akira as its main protagonist. The project’s working title is FORGOTTEN WORLDS.
The plan is to create a third-person action game with RPG elements, dynamic melee combat, exploration, puzzles, and vertical gameplay built around parkour. And unlike my previous attempts to get into game development, I’ve become much more seriously involved in this project. The experience I’ve gained over the past two years has definitely helped. Yes, I’m still a beginner when it comes to Unity, but at least now I don’t stare at every second component in the Inspector thinking, “What the fuck is this thing?” 🤣
I’m not going to hide the fact that I use AI for technical tasks I can’t handle on my own yet. For example, I use it to write integration code for third-party systems, find and debug errors, or get advice on project setup. But if you’re already imagining another “I MADE A GTA 6 CLONE WITH ONE PROMPT!!!” challenge — nope.
Most of the game is being built using ready-made assets created by third-party developers. The same goes for the visuals: the characters, interiors, environments, props, and nature assets were purchased from actual creators and publishers. The 2D graphics for the interface are drawn by my wife, with AI mainly being used as a source of references. The sounds are either properly licensed or recorded by me personally.
Of course, I can’t promise that FORGOTTEN WORLDS will definitely make it all the way to release. The scope of the project is huge, and my lack of professional game development experience certainly doesn’t make things any easier.
But I want to try. Even if the road turns out to be much harder than I imagine right now, it’s already becoming one hell of an adventure and giving me a completely new kind of experience.
And if it all works out — even better. 😄
As soon as I have something worth showing, I’ll definitely share it with you!
The Esseker Best Waifu Contest 2026–2027 is officially over!👑
After three weeks of voting, we finally have our winner.
Our final matchup was:
💙 Luna × Eva✨
And the winner is...
👑 LUNA!
Congratulations to Luna, our virtual singer **CYBERMOON**, on winning the contest — and congratulations to Eva for making it all the way to the final! ✨ Both had an amazing run this year.
And this result marks a little piece of Esseker history. For the first time ever, Keira will NOT be the face of our YouTube channel. She won both previous YouTube contests and held the crown for two years straight, but this year Luna ended her winning streak in the semifinal and went on to win the whole thing. Funny enough, while Keira lost her YouTube crown, she won the Telegram contest for the first time this year. 😆 So we basically have a changing of the guard on both platforms.
And just a reminder of one of the main rules of the contest: the winner becomes the face of the channel on their respective platform for an entire year. So our YouTube channel will soon get a new look featuring Luna. 💙🎤 It won’t happen immediately, though — preparing the new channel artwork and design will take some time. 😄
Thank you to everyone who voted during these three weeks! ❤️
After three weeks of voting, four qualifying matchups and two semifinals, we’ve finally reached the last vote of the Esseker Best Waifu Contest 2026–2027.
And for the first time ever, we have a final without Keira.
Our finalists are:
💙 LUNA × EVA ✨
Luna — our virtual singer CYBERMOON — defeated Crystal in the qualifying stage and then did what nobody had managed to do before: she knocked out two-time YouTube champion Keira in the semifinal. 🎤💙
Eva defeated Gerda in the qualifying stage and then beat Nancy to claim the second spot in the final.
There are no more rounds after this. The winner will become Esseker Best Waifu 2026–2027 and the face of our YouTube channel for an entire year. 👑
Same simple rule one last time: check out the artworks and vote for the girl you like more.
The semifinals of the Esseker Best Waifu Contest 2026–2027 are officially over!😄
Here are the results of our Dark Fantasy stage:
😈 Keira × Luna 💙 Winner — Luna 🎉
And this is a big one.
For the first time in the history of our YouTube contest, Keira will NOT be in the final. She won the previous two contests and held the crown for two years in a row — but this time, our virtual singer Luna / CYBERMOON finally stopped her winning streak. 💙🎤
✨ Eva × Nancy 🦊 Winner — Eva 🎉
Eva defeats Nancy and takes the second spot in the final!
So, for the first time, our YouTube final will happen without Keira.
And the final matchup is:
💙 LUNA × EVA ✨
One of them will become the new Esseker Best Waifu 2026–2027** and the **face of the YouTube channel for an entire year. 👑
We’ll take the weekend off, and next week it’s time for the final vote.
September 1st. Summer is over. You know, if I suddenly found myself back in fifth grade and had to write an essay called *“How I Spent My Summer,”* it would probably consist of one existentially terrifying sentence: ”I have no fucking idea.”
Honestly, I haven’t felt this… lazy? Unproductive? Like I’ve been wasting my time? I don’t even know what the right word is. Let’s just say I don’t feel like I’ve accomplished nearly as much as I should have.
And it’s been bothering me.
There are plenty of reasons for that. Without getting too deep into the fifth year of war, the looming energy and economic problems, the increasingly widespread use of unlawful coercive practices in mobilization — including physically forcing people into military service — and the general feeling that some of the best years of my life are flying past me, there are two main things I want to talk about.
The first one is music. Compared to where I was six months ago, my numbers have dropped. I think part of the reason is that I’ve been releasing music less often — but I also think people stopped getting what they originally came to me for. When I started, the idea was pretty fucking simple: Aggressive. Heavy. Energetic electronic music. Boom-boom. Bang-bang. That’s it.
Then I got access to Suno and thought: "THIS IS IT! MY CHANCE TO SHARE MY DEEP AND INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT THOUGHTS WITH THE WORLD!" So my tracks started getting actual lyrics. Moth of Lead. My Clover. Little Greenmen. Earlier "My Hell" "Forgotten Fall" and "Fallen"... A lot of them became darker and more depressing. Sometimes they were about my own emotional state. Sometimes they were social or political commentary.
And apparently… Nobody gave a fuck about either. 😄And you know what? I get it. People already have enough depressing shit in their lives. They want to bang their heads, shake their asses and use music as an escape for a few minutes. And instead of that, I started giving them: "WAR! DEATH! EXPLOSIONS! DEAD CHILDREN!” or: “EVERYTHING I DO IS FUCKED, BUT I’LL KEEP GOING UNTIL I DIE WITHOUT EVER ACHIEVING ANYTHING!”. Yeah... I can see why someone might hit Skip. I can’t blame the audience for that. I established what my music was in the first place, and that’s how I built whatever little popularity I have. Maybe moving too far away from that wasn’t the smartest decision.
So what now? Give people what they came here for. There will be far fewer depressing “we’re all going to fucking die” tracks. I only have two of those planned for the rest of the year. Everything else? Good old electronic phonk-house violence. And honestly, I’ve missed making a track without asking myself what profound message I’m trying to communicate with it. Sometimes the message can simply be:
THIS SHIT FUCKING SLAPS.
That was always part of me and my music. I just pushed it into the background a little too much in 2026. Time to fix that. Will there still be meaningful songs with full lyrics in the future? We’ll see. A lot depends on how badly Suno gets lobotomized the day after tomorrow. Maybe that’ll actually be a good thing.
No more temptation to pretend I’m some fucking poet.
---
The second reason I feel like I accomplished fuck all this summer is game development. If you don’t care about this part of what I do, feel free to scroll down. For anyone who doesn’t know: for the second year now, I’ve been trying to fulfill a childhood dream and make my own 3D third-person action game with RPG elements. The problem is that not only did I choose something I knew absolutely fucking nothing about — I also picked one of the hardest possible types of games to make.
Game development is not exactly writing a few Python scripts. Although, to be fair, I couldn’t do that either. And of course I couldn’t just make a 2D sidescroller about a square drawn in MS Paint. Or a clicker. Or a runner. Or even another indie horror game.
No.
I basically decided: “Fuck it. I’m making my own Witcher 3.” Because what’s the point of making a game I wouldn’t want to play myself? The result is a gigantic gap between the amount of work I’ve put into this thing and the amount of actual progress I can show. And there’s also this uncomfortable feeling that I spent so much time in Unity that other parts of my life and creative work suffered because of it.
So now summer is over. I look at the project open in the editor and think: “…This took three months? Seriously?” Not a great feeling. So what do I do about it? Well… There’s no easy answer. With music, I can look at the situation and say: “Okay. I fucked up here. Whatever. I still have control over this. I can fix it.” With game development, I don’t have that same feeling of control.
AI is making development easier, but game development is still an insanely complicated technical field — especially when you’re trying to do alone what normally requires an entire team of people with completely different skills. So I basically have two options: Give up on a childhood dream… or keep adapting, learning and dragging this thing forward piece by piece. And considering I haven’t uninstalled Unity yet… I’m choosing the second option. For now. Could I eventually drop out of this race. Absolutely. We’ll see.
---
Now let’s pretend you asked: “So what were your favorite tracks you made this summer?”. Glad you asked, haha. There are three: Yandere, Kill and Forevermore 2. I also really like The Price of Glory, although it’s still too early to tell how that one will perform. And I think My Clover is a good track too — but it’s also a perfect example of everything I talked about earlier. I like it as an artist, but it’s not necessarily what a large part of my audience comes to my music for.
Plans for fall? Very simple: LESS OVERTHINKING. MORE VIBE. MORE ENERGY. Every year, fewer and fewer artists are making that good old 2021–2022 style of phonk, which honestly makes me a little sad. Right now the scene is dominated by approximately 100,500 variations of Brazilian phonk. And I don’t really see the point in chasing that train. Instead, I want to stay closer to the sound that brought most of us here in the first place.
That phonk.
Maybe it isn’t as popular anymore. My audience still likes it. And most importantly: I still fucking like it. Maybe that’s the biggest thing I learned this summer. I spent too much time thinking about where I should go next, what I should say, what I should create, and what my music is supposed to become…
…and not enough time remembering why I started doing any of this in the first place.
Because it was fucking fun. And this fall, I want some of that feeling back.
So yeah. Thanks to everyone who actually read this whole thing. This turned into a surprisingly depressing Summer 2026 Recap, but it is what it is. No point pretending everything was amazing when it wasn’t.
On a happier note: the second-to-last stage of our Beauty Contest starts tonight. And the current situation is fucking unpredictable.
Especially here on YouTube 👀
So don’t forget to vote.
And seriously — thank you for listening to my music, sticking around, and continuing to watch this whole circus with me.
The qualifying stage is over — it’s time for the second stage of the Esseker Best Waifu Contest 2026–2027

Autumn is the perfect time for cozy blankets, golden leaves, and… a nice cold beer. Why not? 😏
Especially with Oktoberfest in full swing - and Akira, Gerda, and Lily are already here to make sure no mug stays empty. 🍻
So, Prost! And have a wonderful autumn! 🍂

A strict pink-haired accountant versus a shy red-haired kitsune. Probably one of the most different pairings we’ve had so far 😆
One of them will move on, while the other will leave the contest. After this vote, we’ll finally have all four girls who advance to the next stage.
Same rules as always — no complicated criteria. Just vote for the girl you like more.
