Last year was a whirlwind for me as a first-time mom. My now 18-month-old has brought so much joy and love into my life, but as many of you know, balancing motherhood and creativity can be a challenge. I didn’t get to upload as often as I wanted, but this year, I’m ready to turn things around! 🙌

With my little one growing and becoming more independent, I’ve found the time and energy to recommit to creating content that inspires, empowers, and supports your natural hair journey. I’m excited to announce that I’ll be uploading a new video every week this year! My life lately…

We are 1 year old! And this experience has been by far the toughest for me. Raising my girl in a foreign country, with a foreign language has been an adventure to say the least. I am a tough woman myself. I love a challenge!

I appreciate being her mother, teacher and friend everyday. I can’t tell you how much I have learnt in this year. I can’t tell you how much I have evolved as a person.

I am not the same person. I feel the difference in me and it’s a good difference!

2023?

Life!

This year has been the hardest for me. I became a mother (one of the toughest experience). Everything changed in and outside of me.

I lost my best friend Rebecca early in the year and her death throw me off everything I wanted to do. I was numb for along time( I am honestly not completely there -emotionally and mentally).

I am still grieving.

I have been lost. No motivation. No creativity flow. And I think for a lot of us- that’s how our year has been. I am okay with how everything has been AND I would like for things to evolve in 2024.

We all have our moments. I have been going through mine. My BIGGEST motivation right now is my daughter. She is sweet. She takes all my energy. I am blessed to be her mother.

Hair update!

Ohh!, I am currently experiencing postpartum shedding and it’s really bad plus the stress of losing a loved one made it even worse😭😭.

I will be posting videos of that experience and of course we are growing it back as always.

Hello my beautiful people!

My current state looks like this guys. As a new mom, these last three months have been challenging for me. Most of you will understand especially those who have been in this position. My baby needs me 24/7 of everyday of the week( am not even kidding). I love it AND it’s also a-little too much.

Anywho, I need y’all support and cheer because this mama needs it. Please let me know in the comment below what you have been up to. I want to hear from y’all maybe that will cheer me up. Update!

I am a proud mama of a one month old baby girl🤍. If you are not seeing me posting videos. This girl has been taking all my time. I am still figuring out how my schedule for posting and filming is going to look like. I still have videos I filmed while I was 9 months pregnant that I want to share but still finding time to edit them gosh, that has been a struggle.

My hair has been in these mini twists for the past two months. Honestly, they have helped me a lot. I have washed my hair with them and that turned out great. I will share my routine soon. Other than that, I have missed you all dearly and I miss filming and chatting with you on the comments.

Let’s say I am back and figuring it all out. Love love you guys❤️
