Bloody Mary: Ladies' Night: The Butterfly Effect Quadrilogy ( Quadril-OG )



There are no two same GoldenEye's identical games. The Butterfly Effect is a quadrilogy ( understand: quadril-OG ) mod within another mod ( Bloody Mary: Ladies' Night ) that intends to propose the original GoldenEye's campaign served four times, but differently each time. You're visually May Day, but you sound like Alyx. And your identity is a mix of both. First entry you're just yourself in the original GoldenEye's campaign. Second time, you get back at the beginning ( Dam ) except things look weird, like black and white, only a few colors like red, some transparency. It must be something you have done that modified reality in the past. Action and consequences. Third time, now it's even worse: enemies wear masks, are they still humans by the way ? As you can't see clearly their skin under the mask, so they maybe try to look like humans wearing masks, creating some diversion with their mask for you to focus on them ? Fourth time: Now you are the one who wears a mask, and it seems to have an impact on your personality. In each part you're telling different things, in the first ones you sound the same, but you tell different " lines ". In the third one your voice has been slowed and reversed, and you might be a ghost among strange creatures ? In the fourth part you wear Freddy's sweater, Hellraiser's outfit, and a slasher's rip-off mask. And now your voice sounds like you're a killer, maybe not just a random killer, but the main antagonist, the killer. Alyx, Sweet Alyx.

Not used to mixed feelings when it comes to video games, but it's exactly how I feel about Dark Souls, sometimes I love it, sometimes I hate it. Also the feeling of being too slow against bosses. It feels like leveling again and again would be the way, but I enjoyt his game as much as it bores me, so... 😑

Level design in Dark Souls 👌 Along with level design from Thief: The Black Parade : very impressive. Quake 1 also have its moments. It's so refreshing to see a locked door, not being able to pass through, forget about it, play some hours and finally open it from the other side, and appreciate the shortcut, especially as it means you probably have fought some boss in the meanwhile too...

Also, like Skyrim, thanks to the AI sometimes that permits us to play sneakily🤭
