Several of you have reached out to me for months now, asking how you can contribute to the channel. The fact that you appreciate my efforts and want to support my work means a lot.
First, I will continue to offer free content. I will continue to discuss the Jehovah’s Witnesses, since I have a mix of subs who are questioning, shunned, or never JW but want to learn about the Organization. In time, I will expand the conversation to include related groups and issues.
For those who wish to contribute, you can now leave a tip when I post a video ("Thanks" button under Menu), or, I have a new membership program you can join for $4.99/month.
The Membership Program includes a one-hour live stream once a month for members who want to focus on post-JW recovery. If you want to meet new people, share some laughs, and you have a strong desire to develop boundaries and rebuild your life after Watchtower, you’ll appreciate hanging out with like-minded subscribers.
The Membership Program does *not* include:
Snake oil (I’m not buying or selling) Pictures of my feet Therapy Bible study Political debate

Tried looking up a former JW friend who was like a little sister to me. I watched her grow up. I worried about her, and still do. I found her, but she was set to "Private" and had "JWORG - Best Life Ever" written in her bio. It made me sad, but it also led to an unexpected observation.
I fell down a rabbit hole of looking up old JW friends. They were ALL set to "Private", with the same description in their bio.
Look, IDGAF. I respect each person's right to privacy. If I could, I'd live in the woods with a marmot. But social media is ubiquitous, and I don't have the luxury of being a famous dead author (at least not yet.) Whether you're posting photos of your breakfast, your workout (never sorry), or your newborn, you're not obligated to share that with the world.
However.
I found this trend very interesting for a group of people who prides themselves on having the BEST LIFE EVER. They can't possibly conceive of having a better life. Instead, wouldn't you want to show the world just how happy you are? That you're thriving? Wouldn't you want to do GRWM reels? Film your Bible studies? Use your account to really push the JW agenda?
MySpace came out my senior year of high school. Facebook soon followed, and there was a learning curve among my JW cohorts. Elders and old sisters we worked so hard to dodge at the KH sent us "friend" requests. We cringed and rolled our eyes. Couldn't us young people have a slice of the world to call our own, free of the ever-watchful eye of authority? Is that what's happening now? And by the way, these are not teenagers I'm referring to. These are grown people.
TLDR: JWs are all in social media stealth mode. What's going on?
