D40LFs forever!

SeptaForever

Hello all. Just a quick channel check in…

Last month, (March of 2026) I set out to be more active on here, and started posting daily. The goal was to grow the channel and reach more people who enjoy the content. It’s been pretty successful, as I’ve gained over 100 subscribers, and have reached a larger audience which is certainly amazing. I stayed consistent with my uploading schedule, posting every single day for nearly two months which took some dedication. I will still stick to the consistent upload schedule, however I will take a few days off from posting to edit some longer and more special videos. I do appreciate everyone who has embarked on this YouTube Journey with me, whether you’re new to the channel, or have been watching since day one, which was almost 3 years ago! (May 3rd)

So within the coming days, expect some good ones coming, and a 3 year anniversary video as well. If you have any suggestions or recommendations for videos as well, let me know as I try respond to every comment and may get around to it. Anyways, thanks to everyone who supports the channel, it means a ton!

3 bike holder bike rack. Signed as Route 66 at Callowhill!)

Hello all! Hope everyone is well. I know it’s been a while, so here’s just a quick update on how things are looking for the channel coming up…

First off, thanks to everyone who helped us reach 800 subscribers, I really appreciate every one of you! I have a special video planned for the 800 subscriber special due to air within the next few weeks. It’s a video that has been long anticipated and tons of effort has been poured into.

Second, I am aware that my upload schedule is far from consistent. I do apologize about the long gaps in between videos, as life mixed with tedious editing and low views has affected my upload schedule. Therefore, I plan on changing up my content some more, hopefully bringing new ideas and concepts soon. Bus ride videos will still be uploaded, just mixed in with other transit content such as challenges and trips.

*this is a good one* - The LACK of ORIGINALITY lately within the transit community has been a major contributor to my lack of enthusiasm for posting, so I hope that in making a different style of content that people really enjoy, I gain more of that motivation I once had. Inspiration is always good, however I do believe having your own style is key to success!

Finally, to better address my upload schedule and stay more in touch with you guys, I plan on posting way more frequently. To be taken with a grain of salt BUT— I plan on uploading at least once daily, or every other day. These will come in the form of either standard long form videos, shorts, or posts like this one.

To better stay connected with my content, check out my Instagram page as I upload tons more content there!

That wraps up this long update, I hope to soon do more to better cover the state of the community and my channel, so stay tuned. And don’t miss new content coming soon!

Here’s some “destination sign exploration” photos I did to go along with the post here.
Have a great one, and stay tuned!

Today, February 22nd, 2025 marks the end of SEPTA’s lettered routes era. Starting tomorrow, six of the seven lettered routes will become numbered and their lettered designation will become history. The seventh route, the K, will be discontinued in a few months.

Here’s two pictures from today, one of Callowhill’s 8424 on route G, and the other 3111 on the G. Farewell to route G, and the other lettered routes. To become a part of history!

Today February 18th, 2025, makes 13 years since the last ever SEPTA route ‘C’ bus operated. The day after, routes 4 & 16 claimed the old route and have been operating ever since. Funny timing, as how the rest of the lettered routes (except the K for now) well become a numbered route starting this February 23rd.

Today also marks 61 years since SEPTA commenced! Happy 61st birthday SEPTA! 🥳🎉

Anyways, here is 2019 XDE40 #3241 displaying the route C sign to City Hall. Cool to see old signs on new buses!

Today (9/5/24) was the first day 3700 ran in revenue service! Although brand new, it still had major problems on its run on route 113 today. It was a very cool experience to ride 3700 on its first ever run!
