Today I made Cheese Fire Chicken because my husband, Jason, was craving it 🔥🍗As the kids grow up, their food preferences are becoming more and more different, so it’s not always easy to cook something everyone loves—but today was a big success!

The chicken was spicy, but the generous amount of cheese really mellowed out the heat. Both the kids and Jason enjoyed it so much, which made me really happy 😊 You should definitely try making this at home sometime—I highly recommend it!

An elder from our Korean church, whose family is originally from North Korea, lovingly made North Korean–style dumplings for our family.She even handmade the dumpling wrappers herself—what a gift of love.And yes, they were absolutely delicious 🥟💕

Looking at these kimbap photos makes me crave kimbap all over again 🤤As a Korean immigrant living in the U.S., there are certain foods I can never stop missing—kimbap and jajangmyeon are definitely at the top of that list.

A pancake breakfast feels just right on a weekend morning 🥞
By the way, did you know there’s beef bacon?I spotted it at the grocery store for the first time and decided to try it.It was surprisingly similar to regular pork bacon, which I found interesting.
That said, it was much more expensive, and the taste was just okay.Not something I’d strongly recommend, but trying something new once in a while isn’t a bad idea 😊

I baked Christmas cookies!
