I updated my classical mouldings pack as promised adding the latest assets produced. If you already bought the pack, the update is of course totally free.
This will be the first one of a series of videos focused on CG reconstructions regarding some of our forefathers' wonders. It is something that I wanted to do for a long time and that I already partially explored on this channel.
It will be, hopefully, an interesting insight into workflows, logical thinking, techniques and in general into how to approach such projects.
This first video will be about one of the most iconic and widely known landmarks inherited from our past.
Hello everyone and happy new year! (yes, I'm quite late :) ).
I know I have been silent for the past couple of months, but I was actually pretty busy defining a roadmap for 2024! Next video is coming this Friday, and it will cover a topic which I think you may find interesting.
Once back from this little vacation we'll take a look at how to effectively use non-destructive workflows in Blender. As a test case, a step-by-step guide for a nice Corinthian composition similarly to my latest render here below.
Meanwhile, I recently released my first classical mouldings pack, a collection of hand-modelled ornaments inspired to the classical tradition. If you haven't already, feel free to check it out at the link down below! 👇
Next video is coming up this Friday. We will talk about the one technique that everyone needs to know to master details in Blender.
I will show you a system that works in every situation and that will allow us to easily swap details around with just one click, all of this while tweaking the amount of available geometry to either get infinite details or nice and crisp close-ups. Or both, if your machine can handle.
Contextually to the release of the video, I'll also drop the link to my Classical Mouldings pack vol.01, so stay tuned!
In the meantime, I have released my Classical Temple base mesh. Feel free to check it out at the link down below:
My next breakdown is almost ready. It will cover how to model an arch in Blender, starting from the base shape all the way up to more complex (while common) structures.
