I love gaming. I love playing video games. I love watching people play games and I love making videos myself.
For a few months now I have been stopping myself from playing games in my spare time to 'save it' for when I launch my gaming channel. Which I planned to launch at a milestone on this channel.
HOWEVER, the first ever game I got on my PC nearly a decade ago is finally getting a full sequel. SO I am happy to announce that I am now uploading DAILY gaming videos on my gaming channel.... Spencer Games! @SpencertheGames
Yes. I changed the J in James to a G to make it Spencer Games.
Main channel videos are absolutely still the priority btw, this is just something extra I’ve wanted to do since I was a kid.
I have uploaded my first video on there already and daily videos will follow from today, starting with Subnautica 2 which releases tomorrow.
I appreciate the love on my recent videos so much, you guys genuinely make my day every time I read the comments.

First of all, I just want to say thank you so so much for the support recently. I read all the comments and it genuinely makes me so happy seeing you guys enjoying the videos. It makes the whole process so much easier knowing there are real people on the other side of it.
I also like the idea of keeping the community tab a bit more personal… so I apologize that this is a bit sappy and serious compared to the usual silliness of the vids.
Okay, elephant in the room: 25,000 subscribers.
What the HECK is that about 😭 Seriously, I can’t even put into words how grateful and excited I am. I’ve never really been “about the numbers” ... I just like making videos and trying to make people laugh; but it’s hard not to look at that and think … wow.
Especially when my last community post was celebrating 5,000. We’ve 5x that in a few months. That’s insane.
Which leads me onto something else I wanted to mention: the upload gaps.
Some of you probably noticed after the Ben Azoulay video things slowed down a lot. There was like a 2 month gap, then a few weeks between uploads after that. Without going into detail, I had some personal and family stuff going on that just threw everything off, alongside working my regular job and, you know… life.
I’m not looking for sympathy AT ALL... I just wanted to be honest because It didn't feel right to just leave it unexplained in case you guys are worried one day I will just disappear.
Unfortunately for everyone;
I AIN'T LEAVIN'!
Speaking of which; you might have noticed the uploads getting more consistent again…
And your eyes do NOT deceive you... they are! 😎
Things are back on track!!! And honestly...? I feel better than I did before. Which I have to give a lot of the credit to you guys for:
Your AMAZING support, encouragement, and just the ridiculously funny comments you leave have helped me more than you probably realize... truly. Thank you.
Right now I just want to make videos. I’ve got loads of ideas and I’m really excited to start getting them out more consistently.
Also happy to say I’ve wrapped up the BookTok/BikeTok/MaskTok trifecta finally (felt like forever because of the upload gaps, although tbh, I actually COULD waffle about those forever... always funny to me) I am planning a BIG booktok video around the actual BOOKS themselves but that's a long way down the line honestly, for now we are moving on.
Speaking of which; there’s a lot of new stuff in the works right now that I think you’ll enjoy.
This is still just the beginning and I’m still figuring things out (I haven’t even quit my regular job yet lol)… but the road to 100k is definitely underway.
Thank you again, genuinely. This already feels like a dream come true… and we’ve not even scratched the surface yet.
It’s only been a year. I can’t even imagine where we’ll be next year :)

I'm ngl after booktok started to get insane traction I had to take two days just to compose myself.
The fact you guys are so supportive and interactive in the comments is amazing. This is honestly a dream come true and I will NEVER give up.
I'm here for the long run and the more we grow as a channel the closer I am to being able to quit my job and go fulltime.
It's not just a dream anymore... it's becoming a reality.
There is so much more to come and I'm super excited to give you guys bigger and better videos, I am still having to work retail alongside YouTube BUT don't worry the uploads will never stop and will hopefully get more and more consistent.
I'm still new to this but with your support I think i'm improving and it gives me the courage to experiment and try different things.

Numbers never meant too much to me, but what really hits me in the heart strings are; the comments from you guys kindly sharing how much you enjoy the videos or that they cheered you up on a hard day and THAT...is EXACTLY the reason I started this channel in the first place,
My rapture tok video briefly mentions the reason why it means so much to me at the end but I'm just so happy.
I really hope in a few years time you all can brag about being here early! I will never forget you all for believing in me so early on and seeing my grow into a real youtuber...
