Guys, it's the one year anniversary of the FishTok event at Balmain (hosted by me, TikTok and Minister of Agr)! I've been meaning to post about it for an entire year now because it's a moment in my history and my contribution to Australian fishing which is re/recruitment of youth back into fishing.

However, you guys deserve all the credit, the people that get out there and pick up fishing and represent fishing in the best way possible!

I will probably at some stage make a reaction video to all the news clips about this event and the behind the scenes footage and photos of this event which was a media storm/scrum to say the least. I'll also publish a few select videos of the news and the rest of them on an alternate channel because there are a lot of clips.

I was at Hair the musical premiere the other night with @andytrieu at Theatre Royal Sydney. Something very different to the outdoor setting that I’m familiar with! The show was a spectacle!

POV that face you make when you catch the fish you’ve been wanting 😃

Hairtail on the chew using a Shimano T curve 4-8kg and Shimano stradic 4000 with 20lb braid. Bait was pilchard cubes and on a single 4/0 hook to 20lb wire and a multicolour light weighed down with about an ounce of lead. If you need more details, better shown in this weeks video!

I was at the movie premiere of Scare Out in Sydney for Chinese New Year earlier this week. Great night with great people and a change in uniform for this particular fish sniffer. This movie was about spies or secret agents. Fittingly, no one suspected that I had a few stray ShroomTails in my pocket 🤣
