Actually, this gave me an idea muehehehehe😈

if y'all don't know, back then he came across a sick orphan. He takes care of the nameless kid and thinks of him as his family. The kid gave him this small little doll of him. But after the kid died, the house caught fire and both the house and the doll burned along with it.

Now that he's in Sumeru, he takes some time off and found a kind merchant who teaches him step by step how to sew. It took him a while and lots of practice but he finally made a doll just like the old one. Small and soft. He put it in his sleeves or sometimes in his hat. He said it felt like having a travel companion.
