Hi, I’m Dacia! I’m a wife, mom of three boys, and a high school teacher. 💙
Peaceful music has filled our home since my boys were babies—and my classroom for over 20 years. I’ve seen how calming sound and a peaceful atmosphere can change the feeling of a room.
I created Soul at Peace to bring together beautiful imagery, peaceful music, prayer, and Scripture.
Here you’ll find faith-centered videos for quiet time with God during the day and peaceful guided prayers for sleep at night.
I also create free printable prayer journals and Scripture-based devotionals. Many videos include a download link in the description to help you reflect, pray, and grow in faith.
If you have a prayer request, you’re welcome to share it in the comments. I’d be honored to pray for you.
My prayer is that this is a place you can return to for peace and encouragement. 🌿
Different places. Different seasons. One Creator.
“He restores my soul...” — Psalm 23:3

💙 A Little About Me & the Heart Behind Soul at Peace
Hello, friends!
I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share a little about the heart behind Soul at Peace.
I'm a wife, mom of two boys, high school teacher of over 20 years, and most importantly, a follower of Jesus. The pictures I'm sharing are a little glimpse into my world and the family I love so dearly.
Like so many of you, my life has been filled with beautiful blessings, but also seasons of deep heartache, unexpected challenges, loss, and moments when life simply didn't turn out the way I had imagined.
I've experienced days of overwhelming gratitude and joy, and I've walked through seasons when I didn't know how I would find the strength to keep going.
But through it all, one thing has remained constant: **Jesus.**
Not because following Him has made life easy or spared me from heartache, but because He has faithfully carried me through it.
And one of the greatest gifts in my personal walk with Him has been **prayer journaling**.
For years, I've poured my heart onto the pages of journals. My fears, my questions, my disappointments, my gratitude, my hopes, and the prayers I sometimes couldn't even find the words to speak aloud.
Through prayer journaling, I've learned to surrender what I cannot control, recognize God's faithfulness, and keep my eyes focused on Jesus rather than the circumstances surrounding me.
It has carried me through some of my darkest days. But just as importantly, it has transformed how I experience the good days, too. It continually reminds me to live with gratitude, hold loosely to the temporary things of this world, and keep my heart focused on what is eternal.
**Prayer journaling has truly changed my life. And that's a gift I feel called to share.**
That is the heart behind Soul at Peace. 💙
I began creating peaceful videos filled with beautiful scenery, calming sounds, prayer, and Scripture because I wanted to offer a quiet place where someone could step away from the noise of life and spend time resting in God's presence.
But my hope for this channel goes beyond the videos themselves.
I've also begun creating **free prayer and reflection journals** centered around the very things so many of us struggle with: anxiety, grief, uncertainty, loneliness, exhaustion, unanswered prayers, and learning to trust God when life doesn't make sense.
My prayer is that these journals will help others build a deeper, more personal relationship with Jesus, just as prayer journaling has done for me.
And I have an even bigger dream for Soul at Peace...
**I would love for this little channel to grow into a community of people who genuinely care for one another, share prayer requests, celebrate answered prayers, and lift each other up in faith.**
Imagine someone awake at 2:00 in the morning, overwhelmed by worry or grief, finding this channel and discovering that they aren't alone.
That somewhere in the world, there are brothers and sisters in Christ who care about what they're going through. People who may never meet them face-to-face but are willing to stop, pray, and remind them that they are loved.
That's the kind of community I dream of building.
I don't know how many people this little channel will reach. But I do know that if even one person finds comfort, grows closer to Jesus, or discovers the life-changing gift of prayer, then every moment spent creating it will have been worth it.
I'm not here because I have all the answers or because my faith journey has been perfect. I'm simply someone who has experienced God's faithfulness through life's highest highs and lowest lows, and I want to share that hope with others.
**If you're here today, I want you to know that you are welcome, you are loved, and you are never alone.**
And if there's something weighing on your heart, I would be honored if you'd share a prayer request in the comments. You don't need to share anything you're uncomfortable making public. Even a simple "please pray for me" is enough.
My hope is that, as this community grows, we will become people who not only ask for prayer but faithfully pray for one another.
Thank you for being here, and may the peace of Jesus meet you wherever you are today.
With love and prayers,
The heart behind Soul at Peace 💙
