America’s Founding Father, General George Washington, was a proud Freemason. At a time when the institution stood as a beacon of enlightenment principles, civic virtue, and fraternal brotherhood, Washington embraced it as a tool to help unite men of good character in a cause greater than themselves. But over time, this noble fraternity was infiltrated — twisted by dark forces with sinister agendas.
Washington’s involvement in Freemasonry was no secret. He was initiated into the Fredericksburg Lodge in Virginia in 1752 and later became the Charter Master of the Alexandria Lodge No. 22. To Washington and many of the Founders, Freemasonry symbolized moral discipline, reason, and unity across religions and classes — all anchored in a belief in God, liberty, and brotherhood.
However, not long after the American Revolution, troubling signs began to emerge. A letter sent to George Washington by a preacher named G.W. Snyder in 1798 warned the first President of the rising influence of the Illuminati — a secretive, anti-Christian, anti-government society born out of Europe. Snyder feared the infiltration of Freemasonry by this organization, and he was not alone.
Washington’s response, found in his personal writings, confirmed his concern:
“It was not my intention to doubt that the Doctrines of the Illuminati, and principles of Jacobinism had not spread in the United States. On the contrary, no one is more truly satisfied of this fact than I am.” (George Washington to G.W. Snyder, October 24, 1798)
These words make clear that Washington saw the seeds of corruption. Though he remained committed to Freemasonry’s original intent, he recognized that a subversive element had begun to take root — one that would grow and mutate over generations into something unrecognizable and dangerous.
As the centuries passed, the hijacking of the Masonic institution by Luciferian elites became more apparent. No longer rooted in God’s moral law, many high-ranking lodges began adopting symbolism, rites, and doctrines that openly mocked Christian values. Where Masonic architecture once pointed toward enlightenment through faith and reason, it began to reflect hidden allegiances, sun worship, and occult initiation.
From the Bavarian Illuminati to modern-day globalist think tanks, these networks have embedded themselves deep within the fabric of global finance, politics, and media. Their symbols are hidden in plain sight. Their oaths are sworn in secret. Their allegiance is no longer to liberty, but to control.
