🥁 Drum roll please…!!It’s in the bag – our first ever award! 🏆✨
Sewcialising has officially won ‘Small Business of the Year’ at the York Press Business Awards 2025!! Whoop whoop!! I was so shocked - I honestly didn’t expect to win, and I’m still floating. It was a great evening, and taking home the award meant the absolute world to me and my wonderful team. My speech was a little unprepared & emotional.. so here’s a proper thank you. 💛 A big thank you to @york.press for shortlisting us, for recognising the heart, graft and community behind Sewcialising, and for hosting such a brilliant event. It was lovely just to be nominated, winning was the cherry on top! Also thank you to the brilliant caricaturist @djbillustration
To our lovely customers – thank you for believing in what we do, for cheering me on from day one in the midst of a pandemic, and for choosing Sewcialising again and again since. You’re the reason this little dream became a real community.
To my wonderful team – you make every day brighter, every challenge lighter, and every idea possible. Thank you for always going along with my long to-do lists and my crazy ideas without blinking an eyelid… sure, there are the occasional eye rolls haha, but they always follow lots of laughter & enthusiasm. ☺️ I’m so grateful for the passion, creativity and energy you all bring!
