The floor is lava! It’s that time of year when the forest floor is alive with these tiny toadlets, they’ve left the pond where they were born and are making their way through the forest looking for a place to call home. It’s amazing how far from the pond you find these teeny Toads.
By careful where you step if you’re out for a walk

If any of my regular viewers caught Love Your Weekend with Alan Titchmarsh last Sunday you may have thought the footage of the Roe Deer looked familiar…..that’s because it was! It was footage captured by me, TC’s Wildlife Cameras and featured here on this channel first, how amazing! Brilliant to have our native wildlife promoted by ITV and Love Your Weekend

We have Badger Cubs!!!!! I'm so pleased to be able to share with you all that we have 2 Badger cubs and they are already venturing out of the sett. I thought we had cubs but i wasn't expecting them to be out of the sett for at least another couple of weeks. Though these 2 are early they are both of a good size. There will be a video posted of them soon, so do keep a look out for that, and I hope you will join me in welcoming our newest arrivals 😊

I think we may have Badger cubs in the forest! Today was camera check day and on reviewing the footage I noticed this female (sow) Badger looks to have prominent teats, which hopefully means she is feeding some cubs in the Sett. Fingers crossed I get to capture them on the trail cameras and share them with you all

I was lucky enough to spend a couple of days watching this Kingfisher as she fished and even more lucky when she perched quite close to where I was sat allowing this photo. Kingfishers are one of my favourite birds, what are your favourites? Which birds give you a buzz when you see one?

Yesterday we drove the Transfăgărăşan mountain road and were lucky enough to see 3 Brown Bears. As amazing an experience as this was it was tinged with sadness, all 3 of these beautiful creatures were by the side of the road waiting for tourists. These Bears have come to expect being fed by humans, so instead of being in the forest foraging for their natural diet they sit and wait for an easy meal. Sadly this could be a death sentence for the Bears

On a recent visit to Prague seeing the Coypu was high on my list of things to see. Coypu also known as Nutria are an invasive species, they originate from South America but were exported for the fur trade. Sadly as cute as they are because they are not native they do cause damage and therefore divide opinion, love and hate. For me, seeing them was a real treat and the highlight was the Momma with her 3 little Coypettes 😂

How adorable is this little Red Squirrel? I took this pic walking around a park in Germany where there were plenty of Reds. I’ve never experienced an England without the Grey Squirrel, Reds in England are extremely rare and declining. I don’t want to hate on the Grey, it’s not their fault they’re in England, but seeing a park full of Reds made me nostalgic for a time before the introduction of Grey Squirrels
