Vocal cord polyps are benign lesions that can grow on the surface of the vocal cords. They can cause hoarseness, a raspy voice, and difficulty swallowing. In our case 45 year old male teacher, non smoker had a polyp anteriorly on right vocal cord.Complete excision done under local anaesthesia through Fibreoptic Bronchoscope. Patient tolerated procedure and is recovering very well.
