Space Perspective is the world’s first carbon-neutral spaceflight experience company on a mission to make transformative space travel accessible to more people than ever before.
Its Spaceship Neptune, which comprises a pressurized capsule propelled by a giant SpaceBalloon™, offers a safe and accessible six-hour journey to the edge of space. With no training required, no weightlessness, and no heavy g-forces, the experience is designed to be as gentle on our Explorers and it is on our Earth. Those who fly with Space Perspective will enjoy unprecedented views of our planet through the largest windows ever flown to space, a world-class meal and cocktail service, Wi-Fi, and lavatory—all from the world’s first Space Lounge. Space Perspective is regulated by the FAA and follows guidelines established by NASA and the U.S. Coast Guard.

#CarlSagan was a great #scientist in the truest sense, but perhaps the reason he’s still so relevant—almost thirty years after death—is because of his gift for communicating the marvels of what had been discovered by scientific inquiry over the ages. Sagan was a master of putting things into perspective—the large and the small, the scientific and humanitarian, the entire universe and our little #PaleBlueDot. It was an honor for us at #SpacePerspective to be able to work with his estate and longtime collaborator Ann Druyan to promote the message of using spaceflight to raise human consciousness for the betterment of all living things.
Happy #CarlSaganDay (November 9 is Dr. Sagan’s birthday); here’s to championing the spirit of scientific inquiry, #science communication, #space, and the wonders of #Earth—that “very small stage in a vast cosmic arena” where “everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives.”

Space Perspective
The best example yet of how our #SpaceshipNeptune capsule will look as Explorers gently ascend above the #Earth and witness the brilliant blue line of our atmosphere. What you’re seeing here is the top of our suspension system, which connects the pressurized capsule to the SpaceBalloon™ and reserve descent system. You can also see at the bottom of the capsule our patented splash cone, which attenuates splashdown for a gentle and safe landing.
The figures you see standing in the windows give you a sense of the size of the capsule itself, including the windows, which are 162 cm high by 62 cm wide (5’3” x 2”), the largest ever flown to space—offering incredible views to enhance this life-changing, completely reimagined spaceflight experience.
