How much time and effort do we spend on trying to beautify ourselves while running after wealth?
As described in the hadith above, Allah (ﷻ) does not look at these things. Rather, He looks at our hearts and deeds. Have we spent enough time trying to beautify our ibaadah, purifying our hearts, and working on having good character?

True beauty is not how many likes you get from a post or how flawless you look. True beauty comes from the inside. From a pure and sincere heart, it will shine through and people will feel it.
It does not matter how much wealth you have or how beautiful you are, if you have a black heart that is always jealous, envious, ungrateful, greedy, and arrogant, your true ugliness will show.

So let’s work on purifying our hearts to please Allah(ﷻ) and not people, and inshaAllah we will be rewarded for it.

This beating heart in your chest has always been made for Allah (ﷻ).
If it was made by Him and for Him, then it is clear for us to understand that the fuel for the heart is anything that is from Him - His remembrance, the Qur'an, Dhikr, and so on. So it is up to us to fill the heart with His love, to fall in love with Him and not with the Dunya. We were created to live for Allah (ﷻ) and if we do so for anything other than Him, then that is when pain, sadness, and emptiness comes in.
The formula is this: nothing can be above the love of Allah (ﷻ). All of our hopes, dreams, longing, expectations, striving and intentions should be for Him alone. Put your hand on your heart right now, close your eyes, and breathe - who is it beating for?
