#Ethiopia: Scholars say #TPLF using fake propaganda tools & doctored images as psychological weapon


Addis Ababa, July 13, 2021 (AI) – Scholars and youth members of the academia said the terrorist TPLF is using fake propaganda tools and doctored images and videos as psychological weapon against the public.


Purported announcements that are imparted by fake propaganda tools target the Amhara People living in the second most populous region and several parts of Ethiopia.


It is to be recalled that Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed appreciated the Amhara Special Forces and Militia for their gallantry and bravery in defending the region and the country at large from the TPLF aggression during onset of the war.


Reports are also indicating that many insurgents of the TPLF terrorist organization are being smashed by the Amhara Force and Militia while trying to encroach the territory of the region via Wolkait and Raya, ancestral lands of Amhara forcefully annexed by the mafia group in 1991.


“We advise the so called activities of Amhara to keep the moral of the people. Let us reject the propaganda of TPLF and let us do our propaganda like them”, Isayas Hailu, a lecturer at one of the public Universities said.
Amharas have a longstanding and deep-seated capacity in administration and problem solving mechanisms, he added.


Another young scholar who is working for government owned research institute told Addis Informer saying: “TPLF agent activists are working hard to divide Amhara by letting them to lose confidence in their leaders, this is bad war. Our activists should work hard to Amhara unity”


“Village activists at this time like Haile-Eysuse Adamua shoud be warned. The drama will no longer to be tolerated by the Amhara People.” He added.
