There is no universal graft number that guarantees a successful hair transplant.

👇 The biggest mistake in hairline design is planning only for how it looks today.
A hairline is not simply a line drawn across the forehead. It is a long-term surgical decision shaped by facial proportions, age, future hair loss, available donor reserve, and the density needed to keep the result believable over time.
Hair loss may continue after surgery. That is why an experienced surgeon does not automatically recreate the hairline you had at 18, or place it as low as possible.
Every graft is finite.
Using too many grafts too aggressively at the front can leave fewer options for future thinning elsewhere. Good planning protects the donor area while creating a hairline that feels natural now and remains appropriate years later.
The goal is not the lowest hairline.
