Today, it has been confirmed that James Earl Jones, phenomenal actor & voice actor with over 60 years of experience in theater, film, and voice work, has passed away at the age of 93.
His expansive and impressive acting legacy spans from theater productions to live action film to animation. His roles in film include, but not limited to, “Coming To America”, “The Hunt For Red October”, “Dr. Strangelove”, “Conan The Barbarian”, “The Man”, and many more. Together with these films, his exemplary vocal performances in “The Lion King” as well as “Star Wars” have forever enshrined him in the hearts & minds of entire generations, of millions upon millions of people across the globe.
His deep, powerful, soothing voice came to be after being born with a severe stutter, an aspect of his voice which he struggled with for years as a young man. After years of support from his high school English teacher together with his own efforts, he began to express himself vocally in a manner which captured the ears of others. This ultimately led to him pursuing an interest in theater and drama while studying at the University of Michigan.
It is thanks to this skilled, humble, courteous, and good natured man that the most beloved & feared characters in modern fiction have been brought to life, and have forever impacted beautifully the lives of countless people. And personally, he will always be Lord Vader & Mufasa to me, among the most cherished of characters from my childhood unto the rest of my life. Characters that Mr. Jones truly gave a voice to unlike any other.
Rest in peace, Mr. Jones, and thank you for all the good you’ve brought to this world.

Su amplio e impresionante legado actoral abarca desde producciones teatrales hasta películas de acción en vivo y animación. Sus papeles en el cine incluyen, pero no se limitan a, “Llegando A América”, “La Caza Del Octubre Rojo”, “Dr. Strangelove”, “Conan El Bárbaro”, “El Hombre”, y muchos más. Junto con estas películas, sus representaciones vocales ejemplares en “El Rey León” y “Star Wars” lo han consagrado para siempre en los corazones y mentes de generaciones enteras, de millones y millones de personas en todo el mundo.
Su voz profunda, poderosa y relajante llegó a ser después de haber nacido con una severa tartamudez, un aspecto de su voz con el que luchó durante años cuando era joven. Después de años de apoyo de su profesor de inglés de la escuela secundaria junto con sus propios esfuerzos, comenzó a expresarse vocalmente de una manera que capturó los oídos de los demás. Esto finalmente le permitió perseguir un interés en el teatro y el drama mientras estudiaba en la Universidad de Michigan.
Es gracias a este hombre hábil, humilde, cortés y de buen carácter que los personajes más amados y temidos de la ficción moderna han cobrado vida, y han impactado para siempre maravillosamente la vida de innumerables personas.
