Something strange happened today. While I was researching 🇮🇱 news sites, I was suddenly hit with a wave of spam messages in Hebrew, all containing links asking me to confirm purchases I never made.
My husband and I don’t feel good about the timing. Then, to make things even stranger, YouTube appears to be limiting the reach of my video. I’m not claiming the two are connected. I’m saying the timing is unsettling.
The Trump administration accused former Olympic canoeist David Hearn of deliberately vandalizing the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.
He was indicted on a felony property-destruction charge.
Now prosecutors are moving to dismiss the case after documents showed that the damage resulted from a flawed contractor installation and the rush to complete the renovation before America’s 250th anniversary events.
The Justice Department’s filing says the Interior Department initially represented the damage as vandalism. The evidence produced later showed it was a botched installation instead.
They rushed the job.
The coating failed.
Then they tried to blame a former Olympian.
The charge may be disappearing, but the accountability question is only beginning.
Barack Obama apparently had a less diplomatic description of the Trump family behind closed doors.
In a November 2021 diary entry, Anthony Fauci wrote that Obama called Donald Trump a “hopeless idiot” and a “pathologic liar.” Fauci also recorded Obama describing Donald Trump Jr. as a “fucking moron.”
This is Fauci’s account of a private conversation. No recording has been released.
Obama reportedly apologized for the crude language.
An Ecuadorian prosecutor investigating allegations surrounding U.S. strikes on Ecuadorian boats has been assassinated.
The investigation is over.
The questions aren't.
According to reporting and human rights organizations, at least 221 people have reportedly been killed in the maritime strike campaign. Yet U.S. officials have not publicly released evidence linking each targeted boat to drug trafficking, and serious questions remain about who was actually on board.
When governments use lethal force, transparency isn't optional.
Evidence should be public.
Accountability shouldn't depend on who's asking the questions.
Do you think the U.S. should release more evidence supporting these strikes?

Ten years ago, Khizr Khan stood before the country holding a pocket Constitution.
His son, Army Capt. Humayun Khan, was a Muslim American killed in Iraq after protecting the soldiers under his command.
Then Khan looked directly at Donald Trump and said:
“You have sacrificed nothing and no one.”
Ten years later, the United States is at war with Iran.
At least 18 American service members have died. Hundreds more have been wounded.
They came from different races, religions, communities and political backgrounds.
They were the America Khan described when he reminded Trump that the graves at Arlington belong to people of every faith, gender and ethnicity.
Trump once responded to this Gold Star father by claiming that building businesses and creating jobs counted as sacrifice.
But war has a different definition.
It means families receiving the worst phone call of their lives.
It means parents burying children.
It means empty chairs that stay empty forever.
Ten years later, Khan’s words remain painfully true:
Trump has sacrificed nothing. American families keep sacrificing everything.

These weren’t numbers. They were sons and daughters, husbands and wives, parents, siblings, friends.
They served this country, and now their families are carrying a loss that will never fully leave them.
Today, we remember their names, honor their service, and hold their loved ones close in our thoughts.
🕊️ RIP ❤️🤍💙

A federal appeals court refused to let Trump impose new mail-ballot restrictions across 23 states.
The ruling keeps the injunction in place while the legal challenge continues.
The court recognized that election officials need stable rules before ballots are printed and mailed.
This is a concrete win for state authority and orderly elections.
