I am a professional Architectural Technologist. Drawing Technical is about practicing the 'Art of Draughtsmanship'. I entered the architectural/construction industry in the time where we use CAD (computer aided design, namely Revit and AutoCAD), and sometimes I hear my seniors talking about the old days when they had to draw everything by hand.
I practice architectural (and engineering) draughstmanship as my contribution to keeping this precision art alive, and I also want to develop and retain this skill within myself. I'm going back to the roots of architectural draughtsmanship. This channel is a documentation of my journey into the old ways.

So I edited a window family in Revit, and some of the components that I tried to put in show on the family file, but don't show on the project when I load the family in. I've tried every trick I know to get it to show, no luck. These are one of the things in Revit which infuriates me as it's user. I think I'm going to have to make a new window family from scratch.
