In 2010 BTCRAIL FILMS started as a simple railroad channel of rail action in the state of Maryland, specifically CSX's Capital Subdivision. Videos of CSX freight trains and MARC commuter trains populated the channel. As time passed, I've focused outward towards capturing unique railroad operations and events. Also, to improve and provide high quality videos that
document railroad history and preservation.

Today marks the 15th "birthday" of this YouTube channel!
Created all the way back in 2010, this channel has grown so much from its humble beginnings as a simple channel that featured only CSX freight trains and MARC commuter trains that were local to me, to now, where I've been around the United States to film at railroads that I thought I would never see in person.
Thanks to those who have subscribed to this channel, or simply liked and left a comment or even just watched my videos. I don't get paid to make these videos, all of this is a labor of love for this hobby and I am continually thankful to those who support me.
And awkwardly, here is the first video I ever put onto this channel, back when it was called, "BTCRAIL101FILMS." It's not my best video, but it show's how far I've come...

With the Woodstown Central video out, I move on to the next project. This video is a bit extensive in its scope, but I am extremely thankful to the people I’ve met while making this video. They have helped me and been great company while making this video!

Slow and steady. But, with a few breaks in between. 🤷♂️
The Valley Railroad Company video is coming together day by day. The most challenging has been color grading as I’ve been going back and forth, along with trying to sequence it right.

Britt Allcroft will forever have an impact on the railroad world with her adaptation of The Railway Series to television. Thomas The Tank Engine has been a big part of my childhood, growing up watching the classic series and playing with the wooden railway sets. Her legacy will forever ride the high iron in the hearts of those who grew up watching the “little blue puffball” on the Island of Sodor.
