Generally Speaking Of Course
**“We make everything about race,” they say…**
>
> So let's just look at the facts.
>
> **Michael Vick**, a Black man, received **23 months in federal prison** for his role in an interstate dogfighting operation.
>
> **Derrick Durall**, a white former police officer, was responsible for two neglected K-9s. One died after becoming severely malnourished and dehydrated.
>
> Durall was originally facing felony charges but ultimately received **15 DAYS in jail** after pleading guilty to misdemeanors.
>
> **23 months vs. 15 days.**
>
> Were the cases identical? No.
>
> **Could race have played a role in the vastly different outcomes? Absolutely possible.**
>
> But I'm not going to tell you what to think.
>
> **Look at the facts. Look at the disparity. You come to your own conclusion.**
