I’m so glad you’re here!
I'm Leah. I’m married to my high school sweetheart and together we operate our beef cattle farm and hay business. We have two children and way too many pets and farm animals to count! We purchased our farm nearly 10 years ago, and we’ve been fixing it up little by little ever since.
Homemaking is my passion. I love fixing up our home, cleaning, diy projects, and most of all caring for my family. My prayer is that my channel will bring about happiness and encouragement to all who visit.
Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you'll stick around!
XO,
Leah

It’s been a little while! Can you all believe I now have a high school junior and a seventh grader?! Time seems to be flying by and I’ve been soaking it all in. We are all doing well just staying busy with the farm, our kids, and their crazy schedules. I have been helping out with my daughter’s cheer team which has been so much fun. This year she has decided to enter the world of competitive cheer so we are navigating new territory! Our son is playing football and basketball, but his first love is the farm and anything to do with tractors and equipment. We just got back from a much needed beach vacation and we all had a blast! I always thought I’d be sad when our kids were no longer babies, but these ages are so fun and I don’t want to miss a second of it! I experienced a bit of burnout with our house and making videos and I felt myself losing my spark and motivation, so I took a step back. Our house looks the exact same as it did in my last video! I haven’t made any changes, just trying to keep up with the daily tasks of keeping a home. It’s definitely looking much more lived in these days, and my to-do list grows by the day. As I sat down to write my list of to-do’s for the kitchen (paint touch ups, resealing the butcher block, etc.) I felt a nudge to start making videos again. My daughter has also been encouraging me to get back to it, so perhaps it’s time. It’s funny how new it all feels to me again. It may take a little time to refresh my memory, but I hope to gradually get there! Thank you all so much for your kindness and support over the years. It means more to me than you’ll ever know. More than anything I want to follow God’s will for my life and honor him in all I do. Love you guys! XO, Leah

I am especially thankful for those of you who have reported these comments to YouTube. Please know that I would never ever ask you for personal info or ask you to pay money. 🤍🤍

Hey everyone! I pray you had a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year! I decided to scale things back here and spend more time simply enjoying the season with my family and working in my home without dragging my camera around. Now that our kids are back in school, I am so excited to get back to my regular posting schedule, beginning this coming Monday. I’ve missed you! Also, my channel has been hit with scammers! If you received a suspicious reply on your comment on my last videos, I’m so sorry. I am in the process of getting all of those reported. I look forward to seeing you on Monday! XO, Leah

It’s been a few years since I’ve decorated our bedroom for Christmas, but this year I thought a few subtle touches would be nice. Do you decorate bedrooms for Christmas?🎄

Good morning! I’m so excited to start sharing my Christmas home with you this week. My posting schedule will be a little all over the place through out the Christmas season. I will just share things as they happen. First up will be our entryway! I’ll be finishing it up today, so look for a new video on Wednesday! After the new year, Lord willing, I will get back on track with Monday videos. Love you all! 🤍

Hey friends, I am going to take a small break from YouTube. My father passed away yesterday, and I’m just struggling to care about anything else at the moment. We never had the relationship we should have had growing up. Addiction sure has a way of tearing families apart. I was blessed that God sent a man into my mother’s life when I was 8, a man who stepped up and became my dad and is always there for me, still to this day. Even so, I know my biological father loved me, and I could always feel that. As his cancer battle began to come to an end, the bitterness and sadness I felt from him leaving when I was young, was replaced with all the good memories I still had of our time together. Over the last few months we began to re-build our relationship. I looked forward to our conversations, and he was able to be there for me during a few very hard times. Most importantly, he assured me he was saved. I’m clinging to that. Yesterday at the hospital, when we knew we were running out of time, I turned on his favorite Beetles playlist (something we always listened to together when I was little), laid my head beside his, and held him as he took his final breath. I know one day we will be able to make up for lost time, but for right now, on this side the grief is just overwhelming. Please let this be an encouragement to you to not wait until it’s too late to love people and love them right where they are. I wish I had done more, but time ran out. Thank you all for being a safe place where I could share this. I will be back soon, love you all. 🤍🤍 Leah
