Living Mythology is our attempt to bring the stories of our ancestors back to life.
They explained their universe through the medium of their religions.
Their gods were not distant beings of academic study, they were living breathing entities that reflected the wants, needs, good and evil in the very heart of humanity.
Our tales may vary from that which you know, but trust us when we say that we have researched and respect the history, but things do not always align neatly.
We only wish to encourage others to study the deep and rich cultures of our forebears.

For all the love you have given and shown our stories over the last few years.
We, Baldermort and Lightbringer, have adored every story we have retold on this channel.
I, Lightbringer, have loved every minute of it.
Thank you truly, for every comment that showed love or curiosity for our work was a joy.
But our team of two has to focus our energies and efforts elsewhere.
Unfortunately, what was a passion project we’d hoped would grow hasn’t grown enough.
It has become a strain on us and disheartening at times.
Although we both wished to retell mythology stories for years, even decades to come, we cannot keep it up.
We aren’t deleting the channel – and I, Lightbringer, hope to still post sporadically when I can.
But we cannot promise or say when the next post will be.
For now, we must say goodbye.
We are so sorry to let you, our viewers, our subscribers, and our beloved audience down.
