A thought crossed my mind while thinking about electronics and nature.

What if we compare small insects to a microcontroller like an Arduino, and the human brain to a powerful computer?

Small insects seem to behave like dedicated microcontrollers. They have specialized neural systems designed for specific tasks—finding food, avoiding danger, and reproducing. They perform these tasks efficiently and consistently, much like an Arduino executing a well-defined program.

The human brain, on the other hand, is more like a powerful computer. It can learn, reason, imagine, create, communicate, and solve completely new problems. Because it processes enormous amounts of information and supports a wide range of abilities, it doesn't always outperform specialized systems at simple, repetitive tasks.

Of course, this is just an analogy—not a scientific comparison—but I think it's a helpful way to visualize the difference between specialized and general-purpose systems.
