In this phase our society seems to be in, people want the facts to change in line with their beliefs and feelings.
No wonder we’re in so much chaos!
A feelings driven society is a society about to end.
It is a narcissistic and entitled society that demands evidence be erased in case it offends someone.
Just because a fact hurts feelings doesn’t make it less true.
It also doesn’t mean we don’t use tact and love when speaking the truth, we absolutely should.
It means facts remain and feelings change. It cannot be the other way around.
You know what changes people?
The truth.
It’s true what they say “the truth will set you free”.
On the other hand gaslighting yourself into a cozy comfort zone will make your life complicated, extremely messy and the worst thing I can imagine… totally stagnant.
Happiness comes from growth and growth requires change and change requires discomfort.
We must learn to sit in our discomfort and persevere through because that is where the true rewards are.
