14 & 16 Pregnant.
I didn’t have a clue what I was doing. I was a baby carrying a baby… twice.
I was scared. I was embarrassed. I was judged. And I felt like my whole life was over before it even started.

But what they didn’t tell me was…
God will build a woman out of the very battles meant to break her.
And He built me.

Those babies became my strength.
Those struggles became my discipline.
And that pain? It became purpose.

Look at me now. Still standing. Still growing. Still healing. Still becoming.
And I’ve raised beautiful babies who love me, choose me, and honor me today.

21 years ago, you made me a mom. I was only 15 years old… scared, unsure, and i had no clue what I was doing. But somehow, through all the tears, lessons, and love, we made it.

You grew up right alongside me. Every milestone you hit taught me something about strength, faith, and unconditional love. Watching you become the man you are today makes every single struggle worth it.

You’ll always be my first baby, my reason to grow up, and the proof that God’s grace is real. I’m so proud of you, son… of your heart, your growth, and the way you carry yourself.

Day 9 Post Op: I woke up with this constant charley horse feeling in my left calf that just wouldn’t go away, so I’m getting an ultrasound to check for blood clots🙏🏽
Thankfully, they’re just making sure everything is okay as my body continues to heal. Recovery isn’t always pretty, but I’m grateful for each step forward💪🏽
Ladies, always listen to your body👂🏽if something doesn’t feel right, get it checked out❤️‍🩹

One of the biggest worries I had before surgery was who’s going to take care of my babies the way I do? 🥹 I tried not to overthink it, but that mama instinct kicked in hard.

But y’all… my oldest daughter is stepping up in a ways that brings tears to my eyes. I don’t have to tell her what to do, how to do it, or when to do it… she just does it… She’s been loving on her siblings, helping around the house, and holding things down like she’s been preparing for this moment for a long time.

It’s moments like this that remind me how God always has a plan and that he loves me enough to allow me to rest without any stress… I was worried and crying for nothing… He already placed everything I needed right in my home💕

So today, I’m just thankful. Thankful for strength, thankful for healing, and thankful for my baby girl who’s showing up in ways that make this mama’s heart so proud🥰
