I tend to get into a production mind set all to often while working in the shop. But taking the time to make interesting one off pieces can be much more satisfying from a creative perspective. This kettle stand, made for a neighbor, is an example of that type of work. I have no plans to make these as a production item, but this was worth the time invested just to have the experience and to work through the process of making the big forge welded ring.
