Celebrating a Century of Signal: Happy 100th Birthday, Yagi-Uda Antenna! 🎂⚡

Happy 100th Birthday to the legendary Yagi-Uda antenna! 📡🎉

First designed back in 1926 by Japanese researchers Shintaro Uda and Hidetsugu Yagi, this directional powerhouse completely transformed how the world receives radio, TV, and radar signals. Whether you are a ham radio enthusiast, an RF engineer, or just someone who remembers tweaking rooftop TV antennas to get a clear picture, we owe a massive debt to this century-old masterpiece of engineering.

💬 Drop a comment below: Do you still use a Yagi antenna in your setup today? What was the first signal you ever picked up with one?

The winner of the Hambox plastics giveaway, Matthew KN4EDG just sent in his build pictures. What an amazing job he did on his build! Very nice upgrade with a keyboard tray he designed and 3d printed! 👍 👍
