Facts only become useful when you can apply them. Our goal is to help you understand the system, take better measurements, solve problems safely, and remain humble enough to keep learning.

Welcome to the HVAC School Community.
This is a place for techs, apprentices, instructors, and other trade professionals to learn from one another. The whole idea is simple: measure before we guess, explain our reasoning, and stay humble enough to be wrong.
Bring questions, photos, readings, odd failures, and lessons learned. Please remove customer names, addresses, faces, and other identifying details before posting.
A few ground rules:
1. Be useful and respectful. Challenge the idea without attacking the person.
2. Support technical claims with measurements, model numbers, service literature, standards, or other solid evidence when practical.
3. Never encourage bypassing safeties, working outside your qualifications, or ignoring manufacturer instructions and applicable codes. Work safely and use proper PPE.
4. No spam, lead selling, recruiting blasts, or drive-by self-promotion.
5. Keep language and images appropriate for apprentices and younger people entering the trade.
6. Corrections are welcome. Personal attacks aren’t.
None of us gets everything right. The point is to do the work a little better each time and help somebody else do the same.
