The next 6-12 months of my life are going to be complicated to say the least. I've been grinding WTB like crazy since 2022. Not sure if any of yall have been around that long, but you basically watched me learn how to be a content creator. From scripting, editing, projecting my voice into the same microphone I tried to make music with years before.
In those 4 years I've reached so many people that it's honestly unimaginable, even with the cheat code of short-from vids. My primary goal was to share my opinions, thoughts, feelings on a genre of music that means more than just entertainment to me. It's helped me, healed me, motivated me, shaped me. Simultaneously, I've had the immense blessing of doing this as a partial "job" and participate in things I've never thought would be possible, and I'm so grateful for that.
About a year into doing WTB I got fired from a job I fought hard to get as well as being diagnosed with a life altering tumour that I'm going to be dealing with for the rest of my life. Yet all that happened in the same month that my "is it the best one" videos started gaining traction. This page has been my best friend and through that, you guys that return to watch have become like a mini virtual family. So thank you for being by my side during these weird times.
I'm making some adjustments and moves in my life that will likely disrupt output and my general availability. Working on myself as they say. Mentally, physically. In hopes of getting my life on track rather than always chasing a dream. I'll dedicate 100% of my free time towards WTB and don't expect me to disappear. I'm just covering my grounds in case things do slow down. I'm still working on the Buzzcord Discord where we can connect more if you're keen.
The 5th anniversary of WTB is approaching in a few months. I always imagined that I'd either be a complete failure or a shining success by now. But I find myself floating in limbo, perhaps the biggest curse of all. I just hope yall realize how much of myself I've poured into this channel and how much hip-hop means to me. Anyway, back to literally editing a video for tomorrow lol.
