In 1992 the Oregon Citizens Alliance sponsored an initiative (Oregon Ballot Measure 9) forbidding LGBT people from receiving "special rights". The community rallied against Measure 9. Including a benefit concert with Nirvana, Helmet, Poison Idea, and Calamity Jane.

"NO ON 9" is a documentary of that fight.

Focus is about the people who put together the concert and with the activists and musicians who supported and donated their time and energies.
