Welcome to West Coast Man!
Licensed commercial/industrial electrician with 30+ years in the trade.
I share real-world tool use, maintenance work, and life in the Pacific Northwest, from the shop to the farm.
If you're into tools, EDC, and practical skills from someone who actually uses the gear, you're in the right place.

Pretty sure I assembled my puppy incorrectly. πŸ€”

Well, I finally did something with the Channel Memberships.

They've technically been sitting there forever, but now they're actually set up.

Custom badges, custom emojis, and a couple membership levels for anyone who wants to support the channel a little extra.

Absolutely no pressure β€” watching, commenting and subscribing already helps the channel a ton.

But for those who asked about another way to support West Coast Man, it's finally there.

And yes... "Soft Hands Bro" is now an emoji. πŸ˜„

Yesterday I compared the $100 Milwaukee and Klein electrician kits, and it looks like most of you came to the same conclusion I did.

The comments have been great, especially hearing from guys with decades in the trade.

And remember β€” I'm giving BOTH kits away to people just getting started in the electrical trade. I've already received a few emails from people hoping to get one.

If you know an apprentice, student, or someone trying to get into the trade who could genuinely use a set of tools, share the video with them so they can enter.

I'd really like to see these go to two people who could use the help.

Back in my day, Romex was all the same color.

How did we know what size it was?

We felt it.

Like men. πŸ˜„

Now apparently every wire needs to be color coded.

Get off my lawn.

Apparently I have a new problem.

Bought an Axial SCX30 K10 and I'm completely fascinated with this little thing. Already swapped in brass steering knuckles, and I've got new wheels and tires coming.

Because apparently I needed another hobby that involves buying tools and parts.

Anybody else into RC crawlers?

Every project has an inspector.

Mine just happens to wear a wool coat. πŸ‘

One of my favorite hobbies is turning YouTube comments into stickers. It's cheaper than therapy... and a lot more entertaining. πŸ˜„

Tomorrow morning, another sticker order heads out. It's still pretty cool to think these are finding their way onto toolboxes and hard hats across the country.

Thanks to everyone who's supported the channel. I truly appreciate every order.
