• Adam's mom is out of the hospital and is resting at home.

There's been a lot going on the last few days.
✨️
• My sister has been very sick with either a sinus infection or the flu and this is the first time she's been sick without my mom. It's been a very emotional time for her on top of being sick.
✨️
• Adam's mom ended up in the hospital a couple of days ago with double lung pneumonia and sepsis. She is 77 and very thin. So it has been very scary.
✨️
There's more but I don't want to talk about things that isn't my story to tell. If you wouldn't mind saying some prayers for my sister and Mother in Law we would greatly appreciate it.
✨️
Ms. Judy (she is basically family at this point) took me for plant therapy yesterday and we went to a local nursery. So I wanted to share some of the pictures I took of some of the beauty while we were there. I ended up getting a couple of things to put outside. It will be in next week's vlog. Today I've just been doing a little cleaning around the house. 🧹🧼🧽

Some fun things have been happening over the last week. First, I finally got around to putting those wall decals up in the kitchen and second, we have 3 new little additions to the family. 🐦🐦🐦

The kids have been dying to get a new pet and while we were looking for a dog ( we weren't able to find any). We settled on birds. They have been so fun to watch and get to know. I bring you along for all the things in Monday's vlog.

Today in my #quiettime I was in Matthew chapter 6. Oh the richness of this chapter!!! There's so much in here. I love verses 19-21!

19 Don't collect for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But collect for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves don't break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart be also.

This is something I need to be better about. I'm so focused on earthly things. So my challenge for us today is focusing on heavenly things. 🙌🙏📖

In Isaiah 55 God calls His people to come to Him. Everyone who is thirsty, those without money. He says come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost.
✨️
In the case of those who are thirsty thirsty is referring to a deep longing for spiritual fulfillment ( Mt. 5:6). The summons was for those without money, without a means in themselves to meet their own need. They were encouraged to buy wine and milk, elements that represented the best of the land, symbolizing abundance.
✨️
Later in verse 2 He says Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and you will enjoy the choicest food. God is calling His people to return to Him for their sustenance. He would provide those who turned to Him for the choicest of foods.
✨️
I don't know about you but that reminded me that I can't do this on my own. I can't provide for my needs like He can. So today I choose to seek Him, turn to Him for His provisions. Because I don't want what this world has to offer. I want what God has to offer. The choicest of foods.
✨️
I pray that whatever you are going through today that you remember God has a plan for you and your life. You may be on a peak right now and praise God. But if you are in a valley know that He is right there with you every step of the way. We don't always know His plans but they are good and they lead to the best thing of all...Jesus and eternity.
✨️
