Worth watching this if you care about awful monetization practices in games. I'd be so happy to see the laws change. As someone who has been beholden to implementing a lot of this garbage "because other studios are successful doing it," I can say with confidence that when major corporations are the ones leading the monetization trends, everyone except the shareholders suffers for it. Everyone. We need a new baseline.
We got books now! Picked up the first batch of books from the printer. Couldn't take them all in the same truck-load (we were hitting our weight limits...) so I'll need to do at least one more run. But they're here! More than half the standard edition is spoken for already, but we've still got some extras if you want to pick up a copy. You can grab it from: playDisRPG.com

Every lineage in the release version of Distal has its own pre-gen character (so, 9 in total,) and all of the page numbers of various abilities and equipment are listed as well. Pregens act as a low-friction point of entry for folks just looking to test the game out, and doubles as an example of how the character sheet is filled out when you roll one up yourself.
@olzerowiczg, @LanzerYT, @ArsheeTV, and @CMDRCyrious will be playing Distal THIS SUNDAY (Aug.11, 2pm PT/5pm ET), live on Lanzer's channel (www.twitch.tv/Lanzr) Most of these folks are totally new to TTRPGs, so it'll be great to see how they get on with the game. Be sure to mark your calendar!
