Our vision is that assisting robotic systems in the air, at sea and on land will make the everyday lives of civil emergency response teams safer. This is because in particularly dangerous situations (earthquakes, CBRNe, etc.), robots and BOS drones can be deployed in such a way that the human emergency services do not have to be put at additional risk.
Rescue robotics must be researched, developed and learnt in order to be deployed successfully. We offer the right network for this on the one hand and a 2,800 square metre infrastructure - our Living Lab - on the other, which enables extensive trials, tests and training with various setups. The DRZ e.V. is currently the world's largest network for rescue robotics. We bring together application, research and companies to work together on the real deployment of the future - with robotic support.
