This is one of the quirkiest pieces I've ever made, but I love it. I'm calling it "The Shoecrenza" and in my opinion is so much more than just an ordinary bench. My goal in making furniture is to make one-of-a-kind heirloom pieces that my clients will love forever while continuing to explore the technical side of the woodworking craft.

It was absolutely incredible to hand these amazing tables off to my client today. I’ve had so many projects that I was happy to get out of my shop, but with this one, I was almost sad to see them go. It was super fun and I am delighted with how much he likes them.

I've really enjoyed all the feedback I've gotten about the drawings I've used in my last couple of videos. I did the first drawings on paper and watercolor and scanned everything in which took forever. I've been working out how to improve my drawing skills and my friend Matt, who helped digitize the drawings in my last video, turned me on to drawing in Procreate. Here's one I did of the GIANT conference table I made in one of my first videos! I think it turned out well.

It's been almost two years since a very special client commissioned me to build a hard maple cabinet to hold her family's treasured photo history. But it's only been a little over a year since I actually finished making the piece. In this video, I go WAY beyond my comfort zone and ultimately build the nicest piece I had ever made (at the time). I felt this one needed a facelift, so I recently changed the thumbnail. If you haven't seen it before, I recommend checking it out and please let me know what you think in the comments!

I recently went on a wild ride making a live edge console table. But in reality, it was a lot uglier than I thought it would be, so I had to take some drastic measures to fix my design.
