It’s been a very productive week. I’m happy with everything I got done, but apparently my battery has now reached 0%. 😅
I think I need a weekend involving a pool, a countryside escape… or possibly a ridiculous amount of ice cream.
At this point, I’m not ruling out all three. 😂

@JoseSpinninCortes took some pictures while I was having my protein today.
He told me, “Don’t close your eyes.” Apparently my interpretation of that instruction was… interesting. 😂
Today I feel about a hundred years old, so I’m taking it easy for a while. Keeping my protein intake up has become an important part of my routine during chemo, helping me maintain muscle mass while my body is busy dealing with everything else.
Some days are simply like this. Protein, rest, silly faces… and carry on. ❤️

#throwbackthursday @ New York City, 1984. ❤️
One of the first things I did when I arrived was buy Prince’s Purple Rain, along with a little stereo radio so I could listen to music while walking around the city.
That’s one of the things I remember most about New York back then: music was everywhere. People dancing, stores, the streets, even the hotel lobby… the whole city felt like one huge club open 24 hours a day.
I’m very glad I got to experience it. ☺️
