Thank you all for your prayers, hugs, notes of encouragement, and your love. God has been so good to us during this time. Mom left this earth to be with our Eternal Father at 8:15 PM on January 14, 2026.
We will have her Celebration of Life Service this Saturday, 1/24 at Ashley River Baptist in Charleston, SC. Please pray for me and my family during this time.

Not sure who the incredibly talented artist is that painted this beautiful mural on one of Fort Mill’s Old Town buildings, but he or she did a spectacular job! If you ever come to visit the popular suburb just south of Charlotte, keep your eye out for this gorgeous mural which is also lit at night! I’ll try to take a night photo of it, too! @FortMillNow

Well, I had to drop old faithful at the dump. For 18 years, this Samsung 45” LCD TV has been part of our family. It has literally entertained Mrs. Roadtrip and me for almost our entire marriage, as well as all my children since they were born. NO PROBLEMS AT ALL! Unfortunately, a bolt of lightning that struck 3-5 feet from our house killed it. Thank you, old friend. You will be missed!
